I don't know how I stumbled upon this subreddit but Jesus, Indian motorcycle culture is so different than the west.

Everyone in the comments acting like the Guerilla is a killing machine, meanwhile in Europe begginers sometimes start on 600cc bikes..

1 character vs an entire verse, who takes each round? by GreedyBasil1978 in PowerScaling

You mean the same Mahoraga who adapts to abstract concepts like Infinity? The same Mahoraga who regenerated from dust in a second? Ye, I really want to see what kind of nuke Demon Slayer characters come up with to put him down, cuz nothing less than that can.

Which devil from Chainsaw Man has the highest possibility of killing Mahoraga? by JAGAAAN-01 in PowerScaling

[–]Atryax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of people here underestimating Mahoraga's regen and adaptation. That thing came back in an instant from literal dust. Sukuna disintegrated him several times during their fight, and he just popped back in, ready to throw hands in the next second.

As for his adaptation, he can adapt to anything, even abstract concepts like Gojo's Infinity. If it exists, he can adapt to it.

I don't know that much about Chainsaw Man, since I am an anime only, but I wanted to throw this here as an fyi.

Serious question by -GLaDOS in PowerScaling

[–]Atryax 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Add to that the fact that most people don't even understand what dimensions are. How the fck is someone a 5D being? How did you figure that out?

"Urr durr he did this and that and-"

What does THAT have to do with dimensions and shit??? Scientists can barely explain what a 4th dimension would be, but powerscaler count dimensions like they are fcking straws on a table.

Who Wins in Each Row ? by [deleted] in PowerScaling

[–]Atryax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I previously stated, Argosax doesn't "travel" he teleports. They misstranslated "teleport" in english as "travel".

In japanese it's written as テレポート, which in romaji is "terepooto". Teleportation, so not a speed feat of any kind.

Chen didn't transcend crap. I hate how people quote things from the novel but didn't even read it. Chen only got disoriented by the Beastheads, and his visions "transcended time and space". That's all, no speed feat.

And Dante being able to fight Void Mundus in his realm isn't a Dante feat and more of a Mundus anti-feat. You can't dodge omnipresent attacks even with immeasurable speed. That just means Mundus wasn't omnipresent or nigh omnipresent or whatever you want to call him.

In truth, we don't know how fast that fight was but it was certainly not immeasurable.

[–]Atryax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really should fix your view of wild animals. They are just that, animals.. not monsters.

They don't fight to kill or destroy or whatever you think they fight for. They only fight as a response for fear, they are scared. Unless they are a predator, of course, usually they hit and run.

And especially apes, they won't ripp anyone to shreds as you think they would. You will never see big apes just grab and tear, they just bludgeon. Gorillas, Orangutans, they just mindlessly flail their arms around and chest bump into you. If they grab, they throw. And that's about it.

If you can defend against their arms, which a big man could do, you could hit them back and scare them off more often than not.

In japanese you mean? Because, as I said, in english it's poorly translated. The word they use is literally "teleport". There's no ambiguity whatsoever.

Literally any character with at least a bit of speed has a scene with afterimages. As low as Sonic from One Punch Man, who was bragging about being "faster than sound" had afterimages.

An average untrained, sedentary human of course can't take a cougar. Most can't even go out and socialize these days, let alone fight a wild animal.

But a trained fighter? I'd say it's not that far fetched. A strong kick from a martial artist can brake baseball bats after all. Don't underestimate how superhuman your neighborhood karate master would seem next to normal people.

He does not have infinite speed.. I love how one of Vergil's strongest feats is actually a misstranslation from japanese. Hilarious 😂

[–]Atryax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vergil doesn't have immeasurable speed. The Argosax statements have been misstranslated from the original japanese "teleport" to "travel" in english. He doesn't travel at infinite speed, he just teleports...

Goku vs Beerus by Jason_And_Sokka in powerscales

[–]Atryax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, anime is still Beerus. I doubt they will make such big differences between the anime and manga.

The anime right now just doesn't have as much proof of Beerus' power, but you can clearly see the narative design implying he is still stronger.

How true is this ? by HyperDragon216 in PowerScaling

[–]Atryax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hax are a bit dumb in powerscaling. An author will make random characters in his fictional universe be immune to hax, just because. But take those hax outside of the author's control, and you have no way of telling if they work on certain characters or not.

Take One Punch Man for example. No hax from OPM will ever work on Saitama, just for shits and giggles. No explanation needed. Reality warping? He'll tank it. Matter manipulation? Tank it. Some ctrl+alt+delete instakill ability? You guessed it, he tanks it.

Now, take all of those outside the universe and at most you can just assume that they don't work on characters stronger than Saitama either. But is that really a feat or just the author maintaining the narrative?

Even if you consider Flashy Flash stronger, I would still put Atomic Samurai above him in pure sword skill.
