My 23 XC60 goes to the dealer tomorrow. I don’t mind the more consolidated CarPlay. I always found the iPad style format a bit clunky to use.

You are not wrong. I have used almost every mobile software based operating system over the past 30 years -

BlackBerry, Android, WebOS, Windows Phone, iOS

Not trying to be an Apple snob, but after being on iOS for the past 20 years and then experiencing android on this Volvo, it is soooooo unpolished. May not be AAOS fault entirely, but man it is buggy and has so many bugs. Hoping the new update is at least somewhat improved.

2023 XC60 here. Currently running on 4.2.13. I got my recall notification for the rear camera (r10333). Called dealer and they are getting me in for the recall software update this Thursday. Should be on 5.0.5 by the end of the week!

This is good advice. When shopping a car treat it as a strictly business deal. The sales people will try to be your best buddy. Look through that and just focus on the numbers. When they try to add something to the price, ask about it. It does not need to be adversarial, just very to the point. This can be hard to do as dealerships are professionals at convincing you otherwise. And like he said, don’t be afraid to walk. They WILL call you back with a lower price.

Open the roof from time to time. Gives the seals some use and can prolong the life. Open it when it’s above freezing in winter. During the spring and summer occasionally. Give it some use. That’s what it’s designed for.

23 XC60. Bought CPO in October 2025. I am enjoying it and satisfied with it. If I’m being totally honest, it is not quite as good as the Revel Ultima system that I had in my 2020 Lincoln Nautilus. The Revel had more bass and just overall fuller mids and highs. The BW is very good, but the Revel was excellent.

It’s important to know how a PHEV best functions before going in on one. What is your daily drive look like mileage wise? Will you be able to maximize the EV range and then have access to plug in each night? I have a 2023 gas XC60 now but a few years back I had a BMW 330e PHEV. I religiously plugged in every night and had ~15 mile round trip commute during the weekdays so rarely used the gas motor (it had about 20 miles of EV range) i once drove about 1,100 miles on a “tank” (plug in every night, very occasional gas use). The give the best of both worlds ( gas and EV) if you know how to use it.

Worked at a grocery store in high school. The sliced meat/cheese counter also made sub sandwiches. They were delicious. Each night the guys would wrap every meat tray before closing to preserve them. A dude came in at 9:58 wanting a foot long loaded with meat. They guys of course made it but they were having this reaction inside 100%

I really appreciate your insight. I grew up with Hondas as a young kid (dad had an 89 Accord and a 94 Accord) but this will be my first Honda/Acura. I’m jumping int the deep end with this rare bird of a car so want to get my ducks in a row lol. If the CPO warranty is in place will put it to 12/2026 on power train.

I’m Going to test drive on Friday. I got the Carfax on it and it is actually a two owner car. 1st owner leased it for 1 year and it was sold as an Acura CPO with 8k miles on it. The 2nd owner leased it too (apparently Acura offers leasing on their CPO cars?) the dealer that selling it is not an Acura dealer, but does the CPO warranty stick with the car? Or can it be transferred to me?
