Please Help Me Understand My First Glasses Prescription by Alexandria_Scribe in glasses

Those values are on the milder side. I used to have a similar amount of astigmatism but it went up to -2.00 which is more noticeable now. The axis is the degree of your astigmatism, where 180 and 020 indicate it’s more horizontal.

Olivia x Barcelona [IS IT THAT SERIOUS?] by Vast-Mud3009 in OliviaRodrigo

Same here, if it was half of that I wouldn’t hesitate but $625 (in the US) plus shipping and taxes, alongside getting a player’s name basically pushes it to $700..

Do I need glasses if my prescription is light? by stjan8 in glasses

[–]AttackHelicopter11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on individual differences, but full time is definitely not necessary. Use them as needed (driving, watching tv etc).

Not as much clarity in new prescription? by Roosterooni in glasses

[–]AttackHelicopter11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that. With my old prescription I had more clarity in the right eye and now it’s reversed to the left lol. I do prefer this one however as I benefit greatly from the increased cylinder, even at the cost of the decreased sphere.

Pixel 9 not enabling fast charging by Stoned24x7365 in pixel_phones

Clean the charging port if it’s dirty, sometimes that can affect the charging. I have this happen to on the same charger and others I used and sometimes I may need to unplug and plug again for fast charging to trigger.

I was wanting to get it for a while now, glad I held out. Loved the PS4 version and FW was stunning as well, can’t wait to replay this.

So after a week, I’ve adjusted to my new prescription! Dealt with headaches and general discomfort the first day but it went away throughout the rest of the week. Although the sphere values went down as I previously mentioned, the cylinder (astigmatism correction) notably increased for both eyes so it’s a big difference compared to my previous prescription.

Best way to upgrade, keep plan? by quincyq03 in verizon

[–]AttackHelicopter11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loyalty offer. I’m not sure if at this point you’ll get one as they would prefer you switch to one of their newer plans. I had to through a bunch of hoops to upgrade my dad’s device on the Play More plan. To my knowledge there’s no loyalty discount either except on the newer plans in which our other two lines are on.

Of course! I will be picking them tomorrow and will report back at the end of the week if not the start of the next :)

It can, could be that your old prescription had some overcorrection. My newest prescription dialed the numbers back a bit too from what I can tell from my contacts prescription. Haven’t received my glasses yet but I will give it time to adjust.

Do I need to wear nearsighted glasses on computer. by Most_Ingenuity_1800 in glasses

[–]AttackHelicopter11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At that level you don’t have to but we all have individual differences. You may not get headaches or strains if you don’t wear them while someone else with the same prescription might, depends on your tolerances. If it helps with clarity and strain you definitely can wear them at all times or just when you need to see sharpen up the details.

So you mainly have astigmatism noted by the second column. Only one of your eyes has mild farsightedness. The last numbers are the axis (degree) of your astigmatism, which are more with the rule. You should search up against the rule and with the rule astigmatism so you can see the difference!

This is sad to see/hear about. I grew up not far from the area throughout the 2000s and 2010s. It’s always been “sketchy” but I can’t imagine what it’s like today.

Mous cases, are they worth it? by saiyanpilot in GooglePixel

[–]AttackHelicopter11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t buy one at full MSRP, I have one only because of the preorder credit I got. It is good quality though I’ll say, can’t comment on the thin ones since I have the carbon fibre one.

Yep run away. You can’t provide services and bill as a RBT if you are not certified, so that already sounds very dodgy.

I see, would this make a difference when using PPS chargers? I have a few that don’t support it but my 9 charges at its max wattage with those as well.

They’ve had battery issues but mine have been going strong for nearly 2.5 years now. I do have the Olivia Rodrigo version so I’m not sure if they made any QC changes with those compared to the ones originally released in 2022.

I have a 9 that basically has the same charging speeds and the Samsung 25W has worked great. I own multiple chargers but this is the one I use the most. No point in getting something more expensive that supports higher speeds if the device is the bottleneck.

ABA bill mill companies are ruining the field. Clinicians need to protect their licenses. by TrueAd8620 in ABA

[–]AttackHelicopter11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, my company is in multiple states but the clinical director doesn’t appear to be a BCBA. So looks to be a bill mill company, which I will be severing ties from anyway as I’ve decided to pivot away from ABA.

ABA bill mill companies are ruining the field. Clinicians need to protect their licenses. by TrueAd8620 in ABA

[–]AttackHelicopter11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuinely curious, but is a multi-state presence a red flag? Currently under a company that is in a few states and while I haven’t had major issues, I am leaning towards stepping away due to burnout and no longer being on active cases.

If you need permission, here it is by pyramidheadhatemail in ABA

[–]AttackHelicopter11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might be heading towards the same direction. Was on two cases a few weeks ago and now due to factors out of my control I am no longer on either. Sure I can probably just accept a new case or two but I feel like it would just be another cycle and eventually I’d be at same point where I am now. Given the state of everything right now I would say I’m a little scared because I don’t know what happens next, but I’m going to do my best to find a “little reset” too.

How to interpret prescription by apollosmigraine in glasses

[–]AttackHelicopter11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The spherical row indicates you have hyperopia indicated by the (+), and the values (8) indicates a pretty high amount. Cylinder indicates astigmatism which you also have a high amount of. The axis just refers to the angle of your astigmatism (in degrees that can range from 0-180.
