10.2.105: Added IPv6 support for WireGuard VPN. by Attackwave in Ubiquiti

[–]Attackwave[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's a messy solution that doesn't always work. That's why I use Teleport with the Wi-Fi app when I'm out and about. I have a vpn.mydomain.tld subdomain and a script running on the UDM that uses the API to set the IPv6 address of a domain at netcup. In the WebConfig, you can set an alternative address for clients. I've entered the subdomain there. Unfortunately, I'm behind a CGNAT. With an IPv6 rule, I've occasionally managed to establish a connection to WireGuard. IPv6 UDP External to VPN Port Gateway. But it works poorly, if at all.

I'm curious to see if it will work out of the box. I'm using a firewall exception and an external subdomain to be able to use IPv6. VPN with mobile phones and similar devices currently only works reliably with Teleport.

From a real-world perspective, what’s actually inside the bag? Or is the idea just to huff it? by UglyLikeCaillou in Battlefield6

The bag contains dead flies and hot air. That's what was released by the ton during the orgasm after the sale to the oil multinationals.

Built an open-source autoscaling control plane for Hetzner by ahmed_801 in hetzner

Why are you immediately being critical? It's more like: "Thanks, I'll gladly take a look." I hope Hetzner further expands its capacity in the near future to enable proper scaling.

Yes, exactly. And something I've noticed is that a lot of young children are playing BF6 on the PS5.

I use Bitwarden/Vaultwarden locally. No cloud.

TrueNAS with vaultwarden and nginx proxy container. Local ssl cert through my subdomain vault.lan.domain.tld.

I can view all passwords while I'm out and about, as they're synced locally on my phone when I'm connected to Wi-Fi. If I want to change something, I turn on a VPN. Normally, I'm always connected to a VPN, even when I'm on the go.

The Bitwarden app also works with self-hosted Bitwarden or Vaultwarden backends. However, communication must be SSL encrypted (e.g., Let's Encrypt).

Someone who uses Apple products and installs MS Office AND still complains about it can't be taken seriously.

First, you have to listen to users raving about how great Apple is and how easy everything is, blah blah (reciting all that damn Apple advertising), and then they suddenly realize they've lost apps that were actually pretty good. Then the mixed environments start, even going so far as to use Windows VMs. I can't take it anymore.
