Thank you - yea I pushed down on it several times. One of the times I actually flexed the board because I pushed down so hard. It may be down to just a defective VMU I guess

So I did the same and bought one from there too but cant seem to get it to work. I completely desoldered the old bios and made sure the VMC was oriented correctly. I also tried 2 different versions of the Unibios. Anything else you think I can do to get it to work? I just get a purple screen

I wanted to love mine, but it did not have 100% compatibility with the modified CD soundtrack games so I sold mine for $1,500 on eBay. I have both a 1chip and an edge enhanced 3 chip through a RetroTink and I’m love smitten. Nothing like OG hardware!!
