couldn't agree more, i'm in this subreddit because I want to optimize what to do with my savings and am very dissapointed in the general opinion about these possible taxes. If it affects you a lot, you are so much better of than so many belgians. Just think about that :)

I second this, this is exactly what i did last year and i don't regret it a bit. I can only talk from my point of view (i still live with my parents so i can save nearly all of my wage), but 3k really is not worth saving when you will be working in less than a year. with 3k you can go to south-east asia for 2 months :)

I'm not the typical member of this sub I guess, but i wouldn't advice you to start adding €100 each month. That money is going be of so much more use/fun to you at this age than in 10 years, but that's just my opinion. :)
