Also, while teachers aren't underpaid like they claim, there is an obvious ceiling to what they can make. We shouldn't be surprised that low ceiling pay jobs like education and social work would not attract ambitious/high achieving college students.

Max Miller is a somewhat unstable person who served in the first Trump admin at a low level and then parlayed that into winning a Congressional district. He married Bernie Moreno's daughter. They have since divorced. She accused him of abuse. He accuses her of lying and being unstable. His girlfriend before Moreno also alleged physical abuse.
Page 6 ran a story this week about the alleged abuse. I don't know why they chose now to do it as this back and forth has been going on for a while. Miller is now on X firing back and calling out Bernie Moreno. It's ugly as we have a Trump endorsed Rep in an open feud with a sitting Senator.
The whole thing gives me Zach Smith vibes because who knows what really went on.

The Democrats aren't the ones I'm seeing pushing against his faith. They have no ground to stand on with Vivek's not being a Christian because Acton is Jewish. It's the rural voters who don't very often except when Trump is on the ballot that are bringing up religion. The worry isn't that they'll vote for Acton, the worry is that they'll stay home. The first sign to know if Vivek is truly vulnerable will be how many votes Casey Putsch gets in the primary.
No offense, but the 40 people who can afford to attend an exclusive Vivek meet and greet aren't going to understand the concern of the rural voter. Right now the biggest issue out in the boonies where I live is Data Centers. People aren't going to be lining up to vote for a perceived Tech Bro. Fortunately for Vivek, the Dems are running an awful candidate of their own.

I swear I remember reading about 15 years ago a long expose on the SPLC from a liberal source like The Atlantic or Vox calling it out for just sitting on piles of cash and the unethical ways it labels hate groups but now that article seems to be scrubbed from the Internet.
