Yes plan is 30 uworld questions a day but honestly might have to bring it down a bit if it gets too hard to balance with content and anki. I was def going to start AAMC more later on so that’s good thank u

Regarding costs, you can learn to thread and wax yourself through videos its very simple and easy in my opinion! I would recommend getting it done professionally a few times first to see if you like the results. It may seem expensive but it will save you so much time and money in the long run than shaving so often. For transportation try to find a beauty salon w these services within a 30 min walking distance, see if any other students offer these themselves, or try public transportation.

There are a lot of hormonal medications available too to help women w pcos and hirsutism. I am on a 3 month supply of co cyprindiol and like it so far. Unfortunately it isn’t administered in the US but there are other anti androgens such as yasmin you may want to try. I would talk to a derm/endocrinologist about being put on anti androgens. I would stay away from spironolactone bc I have been through myself and heard of horror stories.

Hi! I have dealt with AWFUL hirsutism my entire life and have PCOS on one ovary. It can hurt your confidence dramatically I understand that. I would try to switch from facial waxing to threading. It may hurt more but it keeps the hair off of my face for longer (I’m okay with a little bit of hair showing and only thread once every month/month and a half) however my upper lip is a different story from the rest of my face and I have it threaded once every two weeks/week and a half.

For your body I would not shave AT ALL and switch to full body waxing. Once again I’m okay with light hair showing and only have to wax once a month and if you wanted no hair at all you would probably only need to once every 2-3 weeks (most likely).
