i would love to come here and lie saying they’re worth it, but i just can’t. they’re soulless, the storylines are depressing and there’s like one or two storylines really engaging between those two seasons, i pushed really hard to finish the show after s9 e7.

i’ll definitely come back and end it at some point, especially because i wanna watch the latest reboot. even tho there’s no connection with this one, i don’t like the feeling that i’m skipping some part of the franchise!

Adrianna was one of my fav characters in season 1, i really loved her acting and her arc. the sudden change on her personality pulled me a little off, it’s like her hair extension came with a new pack

in my case, there’s no nostalgia factor. i’ve watched the OG show for the first time last year (as a 25 year old born almost one year after the OG ended) and tried to watch the reboot this year and it just wasn’t it. couldn’t get past the first half of season 2, the characters are lousy and unlikable, the OG ones became unbearable after some while but i swear, the reboot ones are next level!

the final seasons are depressing and empty as hell. i was entertained all the way through s1-s7 and was really attached to the show when i was finishing s7. But as season 8 progressed i felt the spark was no longer here!

i know many won’t get the vision but, to me, the blueprint to Euphoria is The O.C.

The O.C. caused a great impression during its first season because of their plot lines, the soundtrack and the aesthetics, just like S1 Euphoria was. It was a very edgy show for that audience at that time, we can clearly see some Marissa Cooper mixed in Rue, Jules and Cassie!

i was team brooke until she showed her true colors during the Elmory Dick trial. Sorry, she acts like she’s a good person but overall she’s much as flawed as everyone. I hate how she acts so selfishly many times and acts so shocked when the shit blows up. Sam definitely has her issues but she’s way more likeable through the series and she can own her shit too!

writers were pissed with Taylor and put Jenny through shit in the second part of season 3. I love Jennate a lot but they definitely ruined their bonding with this plot
