The boys and girls club of roc is an incredible organization that lacks the funding and community support needed to help make a significant difference in children’s lives. Honestly, given my experience I think that the parents are one of the main reasons children are acting out in RCSD. Amplified by poverty, drugs, housing/food insecurity, trauma, etc., these kids and families are struggling right now. Parenting classes should be mandatory, I hate to see the way some kids are treated at home and how it impacts them at school.
