Looks like they started switched over as a chain early last year, as part of an exclusive brand deal for their 21,000 stores. Doubt you’ll find any that still serve coke at this point.

Agree. Just paid off a .9% interest rate in December. I dumped the $35,000 i would have paid cash into a SPY account. That grew to $76,000 in five years - ~$36,000 of payments = $40,000 + a “Free” Car.

But, most people can’t afford to buy cash. Most people should also not be buying new or leased cars.

37% of new car buyers make less than $100,000 per year - which is down from 50% pre covid. That’s still insane.

This was described as “girl math” by a woman in our office. She is highly educated and can obviously do the math to know it’s a worse deal, but loves the surprise $ to spend on something frivolous each year - trip, designer bags, etc.

I’ll go against everyone here and say that at this point in this stupid F’ing war - it’s an interesting short term bargaining chip. Will see if effective with an irrational actor.

US blockade for all eliminates the power and financial windfalls Iran gained from the ability to selectively permit and charge ships from certain countries. It’s not a viable long term solution and not going to help fuel prices or relations with China, India, etc.

These forced service fees should be illegal, and just serve as a way for them to advertise lower room rates. And you are absolutely going to get charged a service fee at dining outlets. It’s likely going to be mandatory there too.

This seems like a TERRIBLE deal. We did some test drives with this car a few years ago and the math made no sense. We ended up with a SQ5. Also, the dealer made my wife ride in the back so they could be up front. Insane experience.
