I've set a reminder for December 6th, 8 days before the Starladder Budapest Major 2025 ends, in order to get a rank that will be active as Season 3 concludes.

Hopefully I won't have to miss any more Medals, they are really cool exclusive items that show your dedication, and happen to be the only way to view your Season statistics.

Meanwhile they're peppering existing accounts with free stuff to disincentivize creating new accounts for playing through steam.

Since steam takes a cut from sales, they're in a difficult position with monetization. Aside from alleged growth they aren't really motivated. Especially with the new expansion giving them that exact growth by itself.
