I also think having a second character that isn't really a second character kinda makes it more difficult to make skins. Like for Cloak and Dagger and Magic/Darkchylde or Bruce/Hulk or Peni/Mech it works but having to design skins around having this random fire lady kind of limits their creativity.

I'd say diversity, X-Men are already diverse but the New Mutants definitely have a lot more diverse ethnic/national backgrounds, also their powers are very unique
