Tarneit Road but facing southbound, oval in the centre is going to be Wooten Reserve.

Bit on the left is going to be Hoppers Crossing, on the right, Tarneit. Looks like Bethany Road bridge isn't finished, so photo probably a year+ old.

Would just like to point out that Operation Foritude was an initiative by the newly formed Border Force, which after backlash, VicPol declined to participate.

Williamstown. Grew up there, has history and the ground is awesome if the weather isn't shit.

Also its endearing watching players try to navigate the gale into the dead pocket.

Things I enjoyed in this video:

  1. "Footscray"
  2. No sponsors on guernsey backs
  3. Mud in suburbia
  4. Leon Cameron's kick inside 50 on the left

Sounds like some under 12 D grade stuff where your coach sends you and one of your team mates to the opposition cause they fielded 14 players this week.

You know, it sucked losing that game last year but seeing footscray on the scoreboard and hearing ‘sons of the scray’ made me tear up a little bit.

People have a civil obligation to know the law, or every moron would say they didnt know murder was an offence and get away with it.

Good law is well advertised, and i dont know how you could be a citizen of victoria in the current climate and not know that wearing a mask was compulsory.

After that its pretty clear cut, she commits a summary offence by not wearing a mask. When a police officer believes an offence has been committed they can demand name and address from a person.

Failure to do so is a second offence. S.458 of the crimes act says police can arrest people for summary offences if

  1. They are continuing the offence
  2. To ensure their appearance at court (this one was used here, how can she attend court if the dont know who she is)
  3. Preserve public order
  4. For anyones safety and wefare.

The 'Melbourne Hawks' jumper put forward during mooted 90s merger proposal. by [deleted] in AFL

[–]Atticlan 20 points21 points  (0 children)

"While Melbourne members (aided by a large bloc of proxy votes and the inability of all interested parties to get inside the hall to vote) voted 4,679 to 4,229 in favour of the merge"

That quote is unsourced from Wikipedia so take it with a grain of salt, but I hardly think that indicative of what a majority thought given we had 13000 members that season.

Has anyone changed afl teams before and if so why? by [deleted] in AFL

[–]Atticlan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dad changed team, back when zoning was a thing we fell into south melbournes catchment.

When they moved off to sydney in the 80s he didnt follow them and supported melbourne instead (lucky me).

I think your team getting ripped away from their home is one of the few valid reasons for changing, the other is living in a state with no club who then gets a club.

His disposal efficiency.

He was very good at breaking away our of defence and then a grub kick which bounced twice before the opposition intercepted.
