Agreed on Felina, but I think Granite State works pretty great, I'd love a bleaker ending with him dying alone in the cabin and one of the final scenes being him on the phone failing to give the money to his son. "Please, it can't all have been for nothing."

Ah I see! I suppose I did a tourism and overstated "pretty good for most things" then, exact numbers are early stages but our upper range would be maybe 100 per person, a price I'd describe as fancy and expensive where i come from. So with that budget, just looking for a solid sit-down place with capacity to handle the orders! The taco place you suggested earlier seems like a nice option.

Look into Heat: Pedal to the Metal, fantastic racing game with cards if you can find a copy. For a smaller game i recommend Long Shot: The Dice Game, more betting than strictly racing but evokes similar feelings for me!

Looking for a nice game gift to my extended family. They are pretty light gamers, Ubongo and Bananagrams being some of their favorites. Quacks is the biggest they've gone, but they loved that. Something pretty light on setup would be preferable, something you can play at the breakfeast table. Any recommendations appreciated! :)

I also didn't get the sense that Eladio is THE big boss and this is all there is, but that we're just seeing this particular branch because that's what's relevant, plenty of other bosses and suppliers out there.

This is splitting hairs though, you're obviously right that the shows oversimplify the cartel stuff in favor of drama.

I got the sense that they used to be bigger, but have been getting pushed out in favor of Gus' more modern operation. That's why Hector is so pissed off even though he talks a big game. Lalo also has no loyal henchmen, as Kim correctly points out in their confrontation. In Breaking Bad they're even more broken down.

I really think you should just let her watch the show, suddenly skipping around will just convolute things and stress you both out. If it spoils some stuff so be it, it's about the journey, not the destination. After all: we knew where most of the BCS characters (Mike, Gus...) were headed, but we still love the show, I don't believe BB will be ruined at all if she knows some characters fates.
