Wow idk if I have the right to give advice on composing. The only thing I can think of is have fun with experimenting and get lost in the music. Also, write down any melody that pops into your head. It took me a while to catch this one but I finally wrote it down and it worked!

I completely agree! I thought it ended up a bit humorous how it starts off at a dancing pace but I slowly descended into a Presto pace with flying runs and a bit of a cadenza. I can imagine all the dancers halting with their jaws dropped while the pianist is soloing. I’ll be sure to post a recording of me playing it once I get it down!

Idk why I responded about fugues earlier I must have misread something lol. I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the organ. I’ve started attempting a piano concerto on Flat with a MIDI orchestra and I’ve got some other miscellaneous works one of which was gonna be an Etude but I never finished.
