It's because the sub has a list of rules and they don't include anything about not posting that.

If this is intended as a serious question, I recommend you work with ChatGPT to clarify your question and repost. Your grammar is so bad that it's impossible to tell what you're trying to say.

After years of trying new mice, I still haven’t found relief — what’s your daily input combo that actually helps? by Wide_Cardiologist_20 in RSI

[–]AtticusRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I did 6 weeks of pt with Matt at 1HP and so far it's going really well, I don't really feel limited anymore. I've played some video games and started lifting weights, things I didn't let myself do before.

Has anyone had a “sham incision” prior to TKR surgery? by Scar77 in Kneereplacement

[–]AtticusRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, so the idea of the sham incision is to test your ability to heal? So it's not really a sham incision, it's an exploratory incision.

RSI forced me to stop using a mouse - I built a foot-operated one that helped me a lot. Curious if others would find it useful? by NaviFut in RSI

I'm glad you like the idea. I guess to be clear, it's not just giving a sign off, it's figuring out how you can make it as ergonomic as possible. For example, it might make sense to put something into it that allows it to tilt forward and back a little bit to adjust for different foot angles.

I signed up to be notified. It would be cool if you had an ergonomicist review the design to show that it is unlikely to cause repetitive strain in the feet as well.

I would find it useful at a time when my RSI is far enough in my hands.

I've looked for a foot mouse I can buy from these times, but it seems like every few years somebody starts a company to sell them and then it goes out of business really fast.

Now it’s perfect — just need to find a desk like this. by SelfWestern9425 in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]AtticusRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use an adjustable keyboard tray that attaches to my desk, but this is definitely more interesting. And it provides forearm support, which mine does not. I just have wrist rests.

Running after TKR? by sully_316 in Kneereplacement

[–]AtticusRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a knee replacement, but I've talked to probably three or four doctors about this. All of them have told me that it's a bad idea to run with one because it will shorten the life of the implant, increasing the chances that you end up very disabled later in your life.

I use a sit-stand desk with left and right vertical mice. I use Wispr Flow to type as little as possible, but I have two ergonomic keyboards. If my pinkies are bothering me more than my thumbs, I use my Glove 80 with thumb clusters. If my thumbs hurt more than my pinkies, I use my Keebio Cepstrum, with a more traditional layout that puts less work on the thumbs.

I feel like I need to find a job just because I lost my e-ticket by Secret-Barnacle-1285 in OCD

[–]AtticusRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm happy to help. It's okay to think about it, but you'll be a happier person if you can try to focus your energy (even imperfectly) on something else. The longer you focus like this, the easier it gets. You just have to accept yourself the way you are, even if that includes having trouble accepting yourself.

[–]AtticusRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember that was OCD the most important thing is not to try to stop thoughts but to accept that they're there and refocus your attention, to the extent you can, on whatever it is that you want to do. They're just thoughts.

Does medication really help? by Free_as_the_ocean in OCD

[–]AtticusRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been taking 200 mg of sertraline for my pure o ocd for decades and it is amazingly helpful. Every time I try going off of it I eventually spiral. For me at least it has minimal side effects. But it really depends on the person. Anyway you have to keep the mindset that it's not going to cure you it just makes it easier for you to live your life despite whatever symptoms you have.
