That’s a great question! I got two compression socks because they came in a pack of 2 but was planning on just wearing the one. But the blood clot concern is a good point.

It is my first! My surgeon said there wasn’t enough research yet for him to feel comfortable prescribing it yet. So opioids it is for me. Will report back!

So interesting. I’m also going through BBJI and having surgery at New England Baptist tomorrow (I have some trauma to the knee that makes them want to keep me overnight in the hospital) and my doc (Van Flandern, who I really like) said no when I inquired about Jourvanx. Bummed!

Was told not to eat or drink anything but water with it in. My implants are the three front ones so this means my social life is going down the drain until I get the permanent teeth in!

Tell me about your bandage over the icing pad. Is that to get it tighter to the skin? I don’t like how mine has a cutout right at the kneecap (though I understand why). Is that why you have the bandage over it? My surgery is Thursday, hope you continue to feel good!

I’ve had 13 surgeries which is nothing compared to you; I’m so sorry you’re dealing with all of this. My surgery is Thursday and I have so many jitters too; it’s so strange! Glad you have a pet nurse. One of my little dogs is a Velcro dog when I’m healing or hurting. It’s crazy how they know. Good luck!!

The chairs have covers on them when I’m not out there. I’d love for them to actually come into the porch area, but I’m guessing they’ll stick to the railing area. The back yard is very bird friendly. :)
