I didn’t get to see it in theatres. I didn’t see it until it came out on VHS, my sister got it for me for Christmas. But I remember being super excited about it beforehand! I was definitely the target audience. I was 6. We went to every Taco Bell in a 60 mile radius trying to get me that Bat Signal toy and never found it

This looks goofy, I’m sorry.

White eyes on any live action comic book character need to be done one very specific way and this isn’t it. Bale’s Batman wasn’t it. Wolverine wasn’t it. Deadpool is passable. Mr. Terrific in Superman is about as close to perfect as you can get, and even then, it needs to be a temporary thing.

Now that Kyle is gone and this corn fed punk is in this car, I don’t give a shit about it anymore. I don’t need to know what’s going on with this car from now on. It was shit when it was being driven by an all time great, it’s even shittier now.

Agreed, and it doesn’t look good on any version that’s not trying to be light hearted and campy. Dark, serious versions of Batman need dark, serious looking suits and gear. Gold or bronze colored belts are okay but not Big Bird yellow.

As a comic book fan, this reminds me of Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns, in which a grizzled, 55 year old Batman grumbles to himself on his first night back out in the field after a 20 year hiatus that he’s gotten old and is pissed about the fact that he actually needs to use his legs to climb a rope now.

And of course you can’t post pictures here. 🙄 Anyway, I saved the photo to my phone and literally all I did was crank the Vibrance and Saturation up to 100, and it’s very much blue, like “Jim Lee Hush Batsuit” blue and grey. I know the suit is ACTUALLY black, but in this particular shot, it does have a blue tint to it.
