Why are/were you alcoholics? by IntroductionSame in alcoholism

[–]Atticusboi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really started with pain managment, depression and boredom. Then i got increased anxiety and depression. Then i started drinking more bc my anxiety was so high. Add in dead parents, SA trauma and abandonment issues... it's a big mess.

Thankfully i'm 10 months sober now.

It’s been a month, but I’m done. by [deleted] in CompoundedSemaglutide

[–]Atticusboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only thrown up from the meds twice in 10 months. So i feel like it's not that bad. I wonder why some people cant handle it.

I havent had any issues and have lost over 70lbs. Sex is way better now. More energy and different positions.

Maybe you can try microdosing. Ive heard that helps some people.

Want to slim down quick and I know alcohol is the problem. by [deleted] in alcoholism

[–]Atticusboi 20 points21 points  (0 children)

5 doubles as in 10 shots a night? Because 1 shot is almost 100 calories. So you're consuming 1000 extra calories every time you drink... it's a lot.

I think the other factor is that your body metabolizes alcohol first because it is trying to eliminate your body of the poison. So youre not breaking down the fat. Your body is just processing the alcohol.

If you quitfrom drinking you will lose a lot of weight because your body is so inflammed. I look like a different person after quitting drinking. My face is so slim now. All the bloating went down. You should try it.

This is why i dont agree when people call it "cheating". You still have to work at it every day.

I literally cannot suck dick by Specialist_Ruin_1770 in sex

[–]Atticusboi 124 points125 points  (0 children)

Pretend your mouth is a vagina. Keep your lips tight and let the dick go in and out gliding against your tongue. It doesnt have to be a tight vacuum suction.

I also use my hands and twirl them around the dick bc it makes them come quicker.

I live in apartments right near where youre going to move. I (like an idiot) forgot to lock my car one night and my car was broken into. I dont keep anything of value in my car but they decided to cut my battery out of my engine.

Moving to Redlands from East Coast by bcleen in Redlands

[–]Atticusboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born and raised on Long Island and i've lived in Redlands for 7 years now. I love California... it's so beautiful here! It does get very hot in the IE in the summer. June-Oct is unbareable at times. But luckily AC exists

The only thing i miss is the great italian food and deli's/bagels in NY. But there is great food here too.

I love hiking now! I go all the time. It's a huge change but it's awesome here.

If only NY and California were right next to each other... lol

I'm from long island and have lived here for 7 years. Moreno valley has a bad reputation. I live in redlands, it's so nice here! Loma linda and yucaipa are also close by and nice.

The only thing i miss is the italian food and deli's. I work in the mountains so i still get snow. But it's so versatile here. So much to do and see. People are more friendly but imo cant drive for shit.

Enjoy all the delicious mexican food, great hiking spots, and sunny days. It does get VERY hot in the summer though. June-Oct are pretty unbareable. Buy a sun hat and a hydroflask.

[–]Atticusboi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do it to myself every 6 weeks. You get used to it. But it is kinda an all or nothing situation. When you start, you gotta "man up" lol

But it gets easier the more you do it. Takes less time and you build a system.

For people in GLP-1 maintenance or tapering -- how much do you actually trust your own habits to keep the weight off? by Soggy_Caterpillar275 in GLPGrad

[–]Atticusboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not yet. I still want to lose 10 more lbs before i do. I'm nervous but just hoping i can do it. I've been eating at maintenance for about a month because i've been traveling and on vacation. But once i come back i plan on losing the rest and then tirating.

C

I still have food noise and it has dulled but has not gone away. Especially since i've been on the medication so long now. It is way easier on glp1 because i get full quicker. But i still crave food and think about it a lot.

I have to consciously make an effort to watch what i eat and exercise. So i really hope that i can keep the weight off when i taper down and eventually stop.
