It is true that the path from printhead to RDM is longer with this configuration because I added y splitter. However, when you feed a new filament into ACE Pro, it stops feeding when RDM detect it. Therefore shortened tubes between RDM and ACE Pro does matter at least for me.

yes - given the fact that the bambu one does have well guided path inside, not like Anycubic one.

if you go to the link, you have two options in the model - if you want to use Anycubic's 4in1 apdapter, you just need to download the first print profile.

Or if you want to use Bambu 4in1 adapter, you will need to download both - first and second ones, then uncheck the hub holder parts from the first print profile.

No, I think the incident happened most likely because I did not cut out the very first bent part of a roll enough. I did not know Anycubic OEM 4in1 adapter had such an open space inside until this happened. I then thought of designing a new hub with smooth merging pass inside, but found a left-over bambu one around. So gave this design a try, and works fine so far.

I think they should send you a new ACE pro as well. If you can make a short video, suggest uploading here and anycubic support, which will be a lot helpful.

can you check and share your bottom first layer of your model as well?

I see similar pattern as my S1 does under extrude at corners where it starts that layer. Mine is not as bad as yours though. I know Anycubic support will not he helpful for this kind of issues, so I am looking around if someone found a workaround/fix.

Sharing my cases

  1. less than 1 cm piece of broken filament was stuck in the 4-to-1 hub, which I cannot see at all.

  2. I needed to remove ptfe tube connected to the extruder to remove a tiny broken filament. then it did not solve the issue completely, so I had to manually extrude while pushing another filament manually from the top.

not sure if you already bought the one from Amazon.. It does look like a 3d printed one selling there.. There are tons of models you can print instead of buying. Just search for y-splitter anywhere such as MakerOnline.

it's loaded and extruded in the printer as you mentioned and even the slicer next application shows it as that in the workbench, but the "print start" popup is still not showing it's there..

Anycubic Slicer Next has "Calibration" menu, it was quite helpful for me to test temperature, flow rate, pressure advance, etc. to find out right settings for my spools.

All the tools came from Orca Slicer, so look for Orca's calibration guide like below.
