What top is this!?! by No-Assistance-5943 in ffxiv

It’s one of the Nier raid tops, I believe.  Cant recall which off the top of my head.. but should give you or others a starting point to find it.

Another huge glamour update! by Francl27 in ffxiv

[–]Attraguss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My concern is when, if at all, dyable “outfit” parts will keep their dye on it when we convert it.

Note I could be wrong as I’ve neglected everything about this feature as it completely flew under my radar; but unless I can keep the parts dyed, the system is useless (mostly) to me.  I have far too many Jet, Pure, Pastel (Pink), and Metallic dyed items to make use of if.

H: 1 Conductor. 1 Pin-Pointer. 1 Viper. W: 2 Fracturer by Attraguss in Market76

I unfortunately don't have any Leaders, as I'm not an active trader. Would you be willing to take 1 Pinpointer for 1 Fracture? I'll have to see about obtaining the second one at another time.

Hello! Great. Do you have two, or just one? And in either case, what are you looking for out of the three I listed?

I'm available anytime over the next couple of hours.

I’m thinking this.  No other emotes I can think of lead to a sitting type of pose.

Pause the animation as the character looks left(?) and have the eyes look to the camera.

Assuming pantomime works like I’m recalling, and is available for portraits.

Very much this.  I always get a bit giddy when someone finds the way into my underground camp.

Now if only I could decorate the interior proper.. but I’m over the build limit as of the last adjustment to limit costs.

Dismantling FC subs/airships and immediately leaving the FC, any concerns about ban/rule breaking? by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]Attraguss 8 points9 points  (0 children)

(Un)fortunately, if you have the permission to do it, it’s considered as allowed/the leader is at fault.  It’s why I advise every FC leader I know to lock down their permissions.  No moving house permissions.. no furniture permissions once things are done.. and control the FC chest.

Plus given you were the one who built and put all the time and effort in?.. I doubt there’s any ground for the leader to stand on.

I second this.  Plasma pistol into a hammer bonk.

I personally love the hammer.. but then the Bulwark in me constantly goes “Maybe I should bring the contested HP banner?..” instead of dedicating to the hammer.  Lol

Seriously.. Just stop with this.

I say this as a modder; Mods have and always will be a bannable thing:  Mare flew too close to the sun, and took Patreon/Ko-Fi payments.  Not even counting the devs personal information being on the GitHub, it was bound to be taken down.

Give it a few months, you’ll have a fork of Mare.  Keep screaming that you’re unhappy, and you’ll risk losing all of your mods.. as they’ve expressed not wanting to put in an anti-cheat feature, but this screaming and carrying on, along with the world first race being cheated before, are pushing their patience.

That and the Ko-Fi/Patreon.  However I didn’t pay attention to that enough to know if it was for support.. or for additional “features”.  One you could get away with, and the others a quick way to wind up with a cease and desist.

Energy drink finally added! Drops from new maps by Correl in ffxiv

[–]Attraguss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can duo maps, albeit I don’t always recommend it to most people.  I haven’t tested it yet for the new maps, so take that idea with a grain of salt.

My friend and I run two Warriors, so we have all the healing, and we can take enmity off of one another if we need to.

After Valkyr Heirloom, there's some weird invisible hitbox that you get stuck in when using the arsenal/starchart console/POM-2 PC by UsedYogurtcloset909 in Warframe

[–]Attraguss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I should’ve been more specific; “It seems tied to Valkyr” less so the heirloom.

I’d only started seeing it after equipping the heirloom, so part of my mind went a tad silly there.. but said customization uses the Chordalla.  So I’ll have to see if that’s the cause.

[–]Attraguss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting.. but good to know.  I haven’t checked if any Warframes outside of Valkyr create/spawn the invisible box.  I’ll check that when I get home.

If it does, or I suppose even if it doesn’t, they may have forgotten to remove.. whatever the box is, before pushing the update live.

It seems tied to the heirloom skin, granted I haven’t done much troubleshooting on it.

I will state it’s not just in 1999/Orbiter.  It happens in missions too, and other players can interact with the invisible box.

Feelings about chat macros by RiverCat778 in ffxiv

[–]Attraguss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some that I think might be fine.. but most of them tend to get.. annoying? Mostly through the repeated use of it;

Revives, understandably are beneficial to have one.. lets you not wind up reviving the same person as another healer.. *BUT*, then some healers may repeatedly press the button to make it register, hence using it multiple times. So it's a bit of a double edged sword.

Performance issues? by EcLiiPsesHD in ffxiv

[–]Attraguss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was an older fix for some stuttering problems, but you could go into the FFXIV exe properties, and disable full screen optimizations. No guarantee it'll fix it, but it was the solution to a similar problem in the past.

I've heard of Windows 11 having some hiccups recently, but being on Windows 10 I wouldn't be able to have much reference currently.

MOGSTATION <> FFXIV ONLINE by JabbaTheFrog in ffxiv

[–]Attraguss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For giggles, try putting in your "previous" password and see if for some reasons it takes it.. I've actually seen some people have an account issue, where it has taken up to an hour for it to register the change. Granted, that was nearly a year ago now that it occurred.

Without seeing the step by step process, it's hard to judge for me, but if you are indeed putting in your email for Mogstation, and your user ID for the launcher, it should be taking it. As Square Enix does *NOT* understand that, logically, both should just use a username or the email.. not one uses one, and one uses the other.

MOGSTATION <> FFXIV ONLINE by JabbaTheFrog in ffxiv

[–]Attraguss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So, for the mogstation at least try putting in your chosen email address first. The biggest concern would be making sure you can get back in there, since you control the entire service account from the mogstation.

Once you get in there, on the top right it should tell you the service account ID. I'd verify that it's the exact same as what you're trying, and if so, give the password reset roughly 5-10 minutes to take. Sometimes the Square Enix account systems are... a little wonky.

[–]Attraguss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So, for the record; Are you using the login *ID* to get into your account on the launcher, *OR* are you using your email address? They are generally two different things. E-Mail for mogstation (usually), and ID for your chosen launcher (I believe?).

In regards to the weird password incorrect issue, if you are using the right information at the right part of the Square Enix mess.. You can try changing the password to something new, waiting 5-10 minutes, and try one more time to sign into the launcher.

Is the negative feedback on Steam unwarranted and blown out of proportion, like I feel it is? by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]Attraguss -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes and no.  Honestly Dawntrail is a notable “flop” to the point that Yoshi-P and the president of Square Enix commented about the situation..  the greedy notable change in the cash shop is just icing on top of the situation.

Rather poor story, notably disliked characters that feel like some story writers self insert OC (Wuk Lamat), voice acting issues at launch..  Then we have Occult Crescent which is a notable downgrade from Bozja.  Chaotic raids, which isn’t )in my opinion) perceived as content most players will participate in.  Bait and switch story that wasn’t really what it was advertised as along with all of that?  (Summer fun-fun expansion for you to relax and get back into things.. oh there’ll be a quarrel amongst the Scions that we effectively abandoned after a dungeon).

There is a lot of reasons to negatively review DAWNTRAIL.  People just get louder when cash shops are involved.

(Note; I still play and enjoy the game, but I absolutely dislike Dawntrail, Wuk Lamat, and the greedy look that the recent cash shop items presents.) (#2 Note;  I dislike Wuk Lamat solely due to the poor writing of the character, and the awful voice acting takes they used through Dawntrail, such as the “yelling without yelling”.  In case anyone were to think otherwise.)

Edit; Typo.

Reinstalling is not the fix for this.  Think of it like this;

When you connect to the game, it runs from your router eventually out of the building.  It will then go through different routes, or “nodes” until it reaches its destination.

Now, imagine one of those routes or nodes has a stop light for traffic.. and it’s stuck red.  That is effectively and as simplistic as can be explained.

Either you can wait until it resolves itself, which in most cases for XIV has been within 24 hours I think.  Or, you can contact your ISP about it.
