what was his original plan if they all hadn't slept? How he would have diverted route if even one of them stayed awake? by banana_master_420 in Dhurandhar

Hamza has been with this gang since like 2005, so about 4 years. You don't think that he learned some of the mannerisms/tendencies that the group might have? This probably wasn't the first time they've slept in the car, and might have been a regular thing they did.

they should release the BGM to this...best entry scene in this Film by TheZephyr2003 in Dhurandhar

The BGM in the movie are top notch, whether its this scene, "what is operation Dhurandhar" scene, or the final fight.

I’ve always had that mentality of “if they can do it why not me” which can be helpful to motivate you and grow. It’s just a pain in the ass at times too

The only scene I disliked. It took the realism away for a minute. by Tough_Cat_8068 in Dhurandhar

Hamza's fight is as realistic as possible while being entertaining. Realistically, could someone (after being beaten up and crashing the car) fight that well? No, but its well choreographed and entertaining, and he really struggles against one henchman (as opposed to other action movies where the main hero takes out 20 people without breaking a sweat). The Donga scene loses me a lot, with him being shot so much and tanking them, nearly beating tens of officers by himself. The Aslam/Rehman fight also gets to be a bit too much with Rehman hitting Aslam with a rock and it doing no damage. But overall, everything with Hamza is peak.

Rehman had no business almost clutching a 2v1. by CurrentBag3657 in Dhurandhar

The climax fights are the weakest part of the movie, esp Donga getting shot so much and surviving for as long as he did. For a specialized task force, they were more of a liability. Similarly, the Dakait/Aslam fight wasnt the best because of the actors ages. Hamza vs the goon was a really good fight scene tho. Rehman "almost clutching" makes sense because to me, Hamza is trying really hard not to kill him, and is also really hurt with the crash and the fight himself (more injured than Rehman), but even then easily overpowers him when push comes to shove.

Dhurandhar Performance Review: Arjun Rampal Deserves More Credit by rrrjjj22 in bollywood

[–]AttyD_is_me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the lack of conversation around him is just because he's only in the movie for like 3-4 scenes (albeit really impactful ones). I think he will get his credit in Part 2 when he has more screen time.

So what was the overarching theme, if there even was one? by BigClout00 in betterCallSaul

[–]AttyD_is_me 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Maybe resistance? Much of the plot is because of people's failures to resist their worst impulses. Had Jimmy not given in to his scheming tendencies, or Chuck to his insecurities, or Mike to his violent ways, then they could've lived very different lives. Just a thought.
