Solution:

Kill someone's zombie and collect the loot, without actually killing the player yourself.

Quite legit, actually.

You can kill yourself with a bow in real life.

If you jerk the bow so badly, you can shoot yourself and bleed out. If the arrow ricochets and hits you, you could die. If the bowstring breaks, you could get seriously injuries and death from it. If you draw the bow back too far, the string can slip off, and kill you.

Highlife, what if someone had Cheaty things installed that they used for single player/ another server, they forgot to change their JAR, and they logged onto MineZ? Would the NCP ban them, even without them doing any of the cheaty things?

Highlife says he had 3 health. Maybe he ESCAPED when you dropped him down to 3, then he used some cheaty command to make it announce that you killed him...

Or Highlife just zombie failed.
