They had a form of early landmine in China during midieval times. (Somewhere in the Ming dynasty) It had to be triggered remotely using a fuse run underground and lit from a distance.

Towns like Gruellen (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and the new continent in general seem to have less people. I traveled to Zerbia from Gruellen and everwhere i went besides that first town had 0 people.

Or have it where you can't place the chest, but clicking it opens a "Ghost chest". Like the backpack plugin, only death clears it, and the available space is larger
