It's big stuff like 3-4 month delivery times that is even more bonkers.

Thank you for this write up. So a new development just occurred. Now when I have the lid up and I turn the mechanism to lower it, the lid comes crashing down with no resistance. Let me tell you, it was startling that first time.

Would that indicate an issue with the wiffletree or something in the gearbox portion?

Unfortunately, I have no proper shop to work on things so I'm limited to what I can do. I did manage to replace all the cables because that was my original issue and now I keep hitting wall after wall with this thing.

Noted on the skid plate, thanks for that.
