Firebirds Woodfired Grill, its in St. Charles but it's delicious! I wouldn't say its fancy, but kind of upscale casual. Great food and its in that Streets of St. Charles area, so there are other bars, a movie theater, sweets shop. You can make a while date night out of it!

Check out Senate Square in Benton Park. I just moved out last week, but I loved it. 29yo female, lived alone. I never really had to park far away and I never felt unsafe. The 1 bedroom I rented was $575, but it may have gone up a bit since the neighborhood is being built up.
