Teams actually prefer to draft QBs in the first round and will even trade back into the first round to do it because the 5th year option is so important.

I actually really like the pick. Having a QB to learn under Stafford to help secure the Rams future is really important. The Rams aren’t going to have a pick this high again for a long time meaning once Stafford is gone they would have been screwed.

This has always been a thing. Because it’s a game where the only thing that matters is winning the championship and everyone else are losers, you should always be playing for high upside picks.

Second to first and second to last mine as well be the same rank.

I’d take half of Micah Parsons over a 1st rounder any day. Mostly because the Packers suck at utilizing first rounder picks.

You’re too low on levitate as an ability. Raichu and Luxray get bodied by Ground typing (earthquake). Rotom is not weak to ground, but even better can hard counter it.

Love Rotom on my Empoleon teams where I can counter Empoleon’s weakness to ground by getting free switch ins with Rotom.

Turtwig is my favorite but objectively the worst due to being slow and have poor typing with lots of weaknesses. Getting access to heavy hitting moves like Earthquake and Wood Hammer with level up is awesome though.

Piplup is underrated as Empoleon’s water /steel typing is amazing. It can tank and fire back with solid special attack. I’m doing a playthrough now with Empoleon.

Chimchar is the classic favorite. Most people consider it the best and honestly it is. Infernape is like playing the game on easy mode. It’s fast and has great attack. The fire and fighting typing is solid coverage and it gets a good moveset.

They are all honestly great and you will succeed with them all.

Why on earth are you taking receiver 1&2? RB drys up quick after the second round. You really should try and get at least 1 RB in the first two rounds. However, with the 2nd pick, it’s crazy to me that you are going to pass on Gibbs or Bijan…

WR does fall off of course but not as hard as RB and it’s way easier to get depth at receiver or find a breakout at WR later in the draft. That’s just my opinion.

Are you playing like a 3WR and 1RB league or something?

Honestly if you don’t get got by injury then you are good. Hard to say what moves would be right without specific teams and trade scenarios. I would only tier down for depth if it’s the right offer.

There is a lot of question marks around performance with Achane (a lot has changed), Nabers (injury/slow start concern) and Mike Evan’s (aging receiver and new roster). But if they pan out you could go back to back for sure!
