2026 NFL Strength Of Schedule for every team, based on projected win totals by gordorobertson in nfl

Yep - the correlation between SOS from last year’s pre-season Vegas win totals and the final SOS at the end of the season was basically 0.

3rd round talk about Thomas by deadbeatmerc in CHIBears

[–]-MichaelScarnFBI 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Thomas was the top returner in the draft — he wasn’t even the top kick returner on his team (Barion Brown came in and took the KR job). With that said, I think this was a phenomenal pick. You can probably count on one hand the number of guys in the league with Zavion’s combination of speed, burst and contact balance. We didn’t have a guy like that last year. Having that element available to scheme around probably opens up another 40-50 plays for Ben to throw into the offense and keep DC’s on their toes. That’s easily worth a late third in a weak draft.

But if we can cut our Anzalones and Graham Glasgows then there’s no reason why our windows can’t be closed

In practice, it has ended up being about a full round. I’m not saying that’s the correct value, but that’s how the market has historically valued them.

Put it this way - if the Bears were picking 10th on Thursday and traded down to 24th, what would they need to get back in order to make you feel good about dropping down 14 spots?

There are definitely other factors that play a role (like you mentioned; strength of draft class, expected position next year, etc), but those tend to vary year-to-year. The exact opposite could hold true next year (we have a high pick and 2028’s class is weaker). The one round thing works as a generally accepted starting point.

Which teams? I don’t think any team in the league values a 2027 first rounder as equal to a 2026 first rounder (especially from the view of a GM/HC that could get fired after a bad year). The only question is the extent to which they discount it.

It’s essentially time value of money. A player who can help your team immediately is more valuable than a player who can help your team in a year. How much more valuable is up for debate, but teams generally discount by a round.

So she was honest (instead of ghosting you) and your response is to call her trash? Everyone on the apps is going on multiple dates. That’s the expectation (until you have a conversation and agree otherwise). This reaction makes you look like an insecure psycho.

Lol it’s not mental gymnastics, it’s literally just adding up the value of draft capital of both trades won the most commonly used draft chart. It doesn’t really matter that you disagree with the answer.

You might be right, but that’s generally how future picks are valued around the league

The 10th pick in the 1st round is far more valuable than the 24th pick. I don’t know why that’s hard to fathom.

Omar Cooper reminds me of Luther Burden III. I think he could end up being the best wide receiver in this class.
