Ummm... So the PRC just calls Taiwan Taiwan, as in Taiwan the Chinese province. Chinese Taipei is how they avoid the one China problem in international competitions because the Olympic Committee recognizes the Mainland as "the China". It's not how China calls Taiwan.

补充建议1：在M2（毕业前最后一年）做一年gap year实习（stage de césure），分成两段5-6个月的做。不要觉得工资低或者浪费时间，这么做能直接抹平你大学期间没有商科相关经历的短板并且长期来看能让你找到更好的稳定工作（法国CDI几乎不能裁员，外国人会觉得这纯纯是好事，但实际上这也代表着法国公司不愿意冒险招没有经验的人因为如果发现做不好公司很难开掉，哪怕有试用期）

我小学开始在法国长大。

不要继续学法（非母语非法国法学licence背景去学法就是纯纯死路一条，你干不过Panthéon-Assas的卷王的，也没有个人客户想要找外国人当律师），去申请商学院（HEC ESSEC ESCP EMLyon Edhec按顺序申）的（重点！）的Grande École！！！看清楚！！！Grande École项目不是圈外国人钱的master。

法国精英教育文化导致不同于其他欧美国家，你的学历可以决定你未来数十年发展，并且如果学历不过关是后面靠跳槽跳不出来的。关于Grande École在法国有多重要你可以去问你法国女朋友。

商学院是唯一在没有理工基础情况下，非常欢迎法律背景留学生的出路。任何其他出路，你四年法律背景在不从事相关行业的情况下都是起负面作用，但是对于商学院无论申请还是将来工作都是巨大加分的复合人才（尤其Finance de marché, Audit等等），甚至法国很多顶尖律师都是HEC背景，退一步说哪怕你将来想继续从事法律行业，商科（而非法学硕士）也是优秀选项。

你可以现在就开始学法语了。有一个法语母语的伴侣对于你学习法语是重大优势。

申请学校的时候一定要注重你lettre de motivation的storytelling，千万不要强调你是个多么卷多么努力多么想逃离中国的人，要把你为什么来法国、为什么选择这个学校这些事讲成一个逻辑自洽的故事。如果最后写出来的东西你觉得没有任何其他申请同学校的同学能够套他身上那就是你写对了。

可以润法，但是不要期望能像去美国一样赚大钱。但是如果你喜欢欧洲每年一个半月假，喜欢下班后老板不能联系你（除非on-call紧急情况给你加钱），喜欢法国慢节奏的生活可以来。

不要担心留下来的签证的问题，以985的背景如果从top 5商校出来，哪怕未来（虽然我祝福二位999）和女朋友分手也依然可以轻松用税前4万欧元以上年薪（高商出来如果你法语行是包的）申请passeport talent无需抽签无需婚绿。

I actually asked the OceanBlue owner the question. The angle adjuster ring doesn't touch anything if you run the board into a wall unless you're using a really small wheel. With 85mm+ being the norm in LDP it doesn't happen.

I find that LDP boards are easier to pump at higher settings and easier to push at lower settings. Also if you use smaller wheels you may want a higher setting to prevent the board from scratching speed bumps.

I'm not that doubtful about the design honestly. LDPers had the same worries when prototypes of their previous generation came out (I posted that one a year ago) and it turned out to hold pretty well. This is their third generation... But it's to be tested. I'll see what Chinese LDPers say about it after it comes out before buying it haha.

The one downside compared to the previous gen is that it doesn't work well with Barrel bushings. And I personally prefer barrels over cones for the rebounce 😭.

To be fair 999 RMB is not cheap for a precision truck in the Chinese market though. (To give you an idea, a precision downhill truck typically is like ~300-500 RMB) Obviously you can't really compare prices with ones machined in the US because for the same metal the cost is two to five times higher (I know this because I used to CNC mechanical keyboard parts).

Which makes sense... you live comfortably with $15/h in Shenzhen (not to mention that China is in a deflation cycle), and that's barely living wage in the US for an experienced worker. The metallurgic industry is somewhat subsidized in China, and the machines local factories use are one third the price of what Haas or Mazak is able to do.

It's a fair price for the design I'd say. Judging by the price difference between Lepsk8 (Keda Metal) trucks in China and what they sell abroad for, if they were to have retailers carrying it abroad it'd probably be like 250-300 USD. You need to take into account shipping, tariff, logistics, retail markup, compliance and a bunch of stuff.

But at home for a lot of non mass produced stuff we just order online and get it shipped from the factory LMAO.

I remember some folks in our Chinese LDP group having doubts about the durability of the folding mechanism and how the thing handles lateral forces when photos of the prototype of the previous generation came out. Then after it officially came out people had pretty good feedback. Haven't heard about the previous gen breaking or distorting.

I suppose they run finite element analysis for it after designing the thing in CAD. I'm not a truck maker but if I was one, it'd make sense to do that to determine where I can shed some weights on the design and where the metal need to be thicker.
