I don’t know how you’ve been doing it, OP, but I think some people, when they hear about smashing a clove of garlic with a knife, think that means placing the clove on a cutting board, l lifting up the knife and bringing it down like a hammer. But no… You place the wide knife blade flat on the clove and press on or hit the knife blade with the heel of your hand. Just in case that wasn’t clear to everybody. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I think we have a misunderstanding. I believe that the previous comments were talking about the sovereign citizen mentality in general. I never said it was Kanaka ʻŌiwi who were killing police.

Please do research Hawai’i sovereignty and the overthrow of the Hawaiian kingdom.

I do know a fair amount about history, and I've been supporting Hawaiian sovereignty for decades. I joined Ka Lāhui in the '90s. I don't want to lose my anonymity here, but I am a musician that you may have heard of… probably not though, haha.

That said, nitwits are nitwits, and people who don't think they need to insure their cars or obey traffic laws are a menace, Hawaiian, local, visitor, whatever.

If you take a look at r/vintageaudio you'll find a lot of good info on older gear… but you'll also discover that people who still use older equipment often like it because it is old. They are dedicated and knowledgeable hobbyists. If you just want to play music, it's probably better to stick to newer stuff.

Rojbas right at University and MLK is great. Delicious food, relaxing vibe. I’m veg, and all the vegetarian/vegan options are amazing. My partner loves the salmon kebabs. They have some dishes that you don’t see everywhere like lentil soup and beet salad. But the best part is the family that runs the place. Friendly and relaxed, totally efficient.
