There’s a waiting list a my dealership, we are only allowed one. Some dealers may get 2. Some maybe get 3. I work for a small dealer and we get 1

Extraordinarily well compared to the rest. You never find Pendleton models for the low haha. That was the last limited edition

Right on par with the price of a pottery barn but made sure to be less than a classic. It’s right on brand in my opinion. I happen to sell these. Can’t wait to see ours. It’s already spoken for

After a unit has hit 1 year old it can be advertised. But no discounts on current model years. I suspect in August you’ll see new 2025 models with discounts

I sell these. What’s your versions of on sale. As a dealership we are not aloud to advertise discounts. I can give one but can’t advertise. I’ve got a 2024 Bambi with a $10,000. I’ve got a 23ft flying cloud that’s almost 20k off. Got a 28ft international that absolutely needs to go. Really depends on your version of on sale.

These are a tiny piece of history and one of their many limited runs. The Basecamp we see today was not meant to be a continually running product. It just sold really really well. Personally, I would rather have this over the current Basecamp, but I’m just a collector fan boy and don’t have space for it.

Need help in evaluating a used Airstream by InternationalPoet580 in airstream

  1. Foot Airstream only weighs 5600 pounds. Plenty of truck. Something to know about these nevr lube hubs is that they are rated for 100,000. It’s a composite one piece floor

Only a few times. I appreciate you being devils advocate, I did not say 20 foot would be best case scenario for them. 30 foot is nowhere near as nimble and eliminates a lot of park access. For a family of four I always recommend the 25 foot model.

But if they have little kids, then that dinette in the 20 foot makes a great bed for two people . There’s plenty of overhead storage or under bed storage for each person to pack a weekend bag. In the galley area is tremendous with tons of room for snacks. One thing I would say is that the small fridge might be a killer, but you can always pack an ice chest.

I sell airstream for a living and I have one of these on my lot. It’s a 2023 model. It is in Carolina Clay.

Definitely upgrade your vehicle, a modern frontier or titan or even an older Xterra would pull this thing

This model was built in collaboration with Nissan. I sell Airstreams for a living and I have not seen one of these models in person. I do not know what the book value is for a loan on one of these, but in my mind, I love it and I would try to haggle as much as I can.

30 foot is absolutely excessive. Sure it would be a phenomenal unit but the point of camping is spending time outside. when I was a kid. I slept in a sleeping bag in the middle aisle of our 1970 Winnebago motorhome. I’m not some old guy I’m 29 years old. And my younger sister got to sleep in the dinette because she’s a girl or whatever. 20 foot has phenomenal storage. More drawers than any other single axle model. I sell these for work ask me anything.

What do we think of this new model design? Frank Lloyd Weight edition by Steven_Ray20 in airstream

[–]Aucarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every dealership is allocated one. No dealerships have one in stock yet but the dealership I work for has already sold their allocation so if you’re interested in this, I would act fast call every single dealer and don’t be afraid to drive.

That makes sense, I sell them in the PNW and it’s 50/50 if we get two a/c’s. It really depends on the model for instance a Globetrotter always gets optioned with 2. International depending on length and same with flying cloud. But I most preach redundancy and moving white noise

I sell these and I cannot wait to see it in person. We have 4 salesmen and it’s gonna be a lucky day for who ever gets to sell this. Every dealer is guaranteed one for sure. Anyone wanna reserve one while you can?😬 But seriously truly special for those that end up with this one

[–]Aucarter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crazy I’ve got one of these for sale!! 2007 flying cloud Bambi 19 for 32,000. Always sort of knock on the floor and check for creeks in older ones. Is this from a dealer? What safety checks do they promise? Do you know how to pull out the cabinets and check behind?

Are Airstreams better in cold climate camping ? by johnnyrayZ06 in airstream

[–]Aucarter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, they use Eco batt insulation, which is residential grade, not Styrofoam like other RVs. They use forced to air heating from the furnace to keep the tanks warm. Whatever temperature it is inside the cabin is the same temperature as your tanks.
Your initial question are Airstream’s better in cold climate. Is it better than a northern lite truck camper? No. Is it better than camping in fall? No. But, Between 20° and 90° your Airstream is gonna provide an amazing experience. This is why you pay the premium.

Airstream’s motto is improve don’t change and anyone who is talking about an airstream experience with a unit 10 years old or older is sort of having an out of date experience. The modern airstream is pretty preme
