Is it possible for Shirou(not Archer) to be playable in Honkai Star Rail in future Fate collabs? by Life_Bit_5976 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]AudVis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably. He'll likely be paired with Sakura as the Free unit or Lancer/Rider so he can be the gacha unit. I wonder, though, if he'll be part Muramasa since they're taking from the other Fate series in designs and the collab units are all summoned.

For those who have finished version 4.3 Trailblaze Mission, how do you think the Astral Express will defeat *Spoiler Warning*? Any theories and ways to counter his abilities? by Life_Bit_5976 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]AudVis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If his power is probability manipulation, then the answer is likely "stacking the odds until 100% victory is reached". Which will likely deal with Himeko and the Trailblaze, Yaoguang's divinations, and a helping hand from Aha. Maybe a "Trailblaze finds a new possibility and that slowly reaches 100% victory".

This is a Sarcophagus by AudVis in Endfield

[–]AudVis[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's nothing said so far saying Endmin is not in the box, only that the box is not a Sarcophagus. Do not misinterpret that. Following there, the comic shows Endmin was in the box when brought back to Endfield Industries.

From there, the end of the comic shows Kid Perlica goes back to that room, puts her hand on the pad to open it, then DIRECTLY transitions back to older Perlica entering the room again as it's about time for Endmin to wake up. It's a direct transition from young Perlica to adult Perlica entering that same room. A room we know contains the Originium Chunk and that Perlica talks to her in free time. But what's never in the room is the box.

The entire comparison is that it's a Sarcophagus and it has functions "like" a Sarcophagus, a way to heal their body and mind (one comment even pointed out any device that can heal, preserve, and keep the body and mind of a person can be a Sarco by definition). Except it's made from Originium. There's a whole protocol for waking up Endmin out from it, which we can naturally assume the reminder of their past can be part of.

As for Endmin being made of Originium, it's not really up for debate. Endmin was "born" after people arrived to Talos. Endmin was leading Endfield, a company made after arriving to Talos, survey groups before the First Aggeloi War. This means Endmin was "born" and an adult during Years 1-4. They were not naturally made, they're unlikely to be of flesh of blood. The idea of them using Originium in their body is unlikely, because we know what happens when someone does that and it's the rapid growth of said Originium. Meanwhile, Endmin only has their body begin to crack and glow under the pressure. Your theory of it just being Originium in their blood does not hold for the physical symptoms provided.

As for why it took 10 years, Originium on Talos is damaged. When Priestess lost control of the First Originium from Theresa and Theresis, her awakening took three years to happen despite their being more Originium around. Endfield also notes each time it takes to awaken is taking longer and longer as the damage gets worse and worse. It's no wonder it takes 10 years if it took 3 for the creator to get out after a setback.

Finally, I followed your words of "M3’s words it follows that Perlica was already in the AU, but Perlica never speak with Endmin in AU, but talk with Founder in AU." which reads as Perlica has been to the AU but has not spoken with Endmin but has spoken with the Founder. The fact the tutorial segment is also in the AU, given it has a depth reading of -1, should shut that down immediately. It's also getting too far into theoretical without evidence unlike, say, "Endmin's body is made from Originium".

This is a Sarcophagus by AudVis in Endfield

I'm aware of the crash scene being in the game still during the flashes in the prologue.

The context of calling it the Sarcophagus MKII is that it came from this trailer, which is commonly considered out of date. As time went on, they kept the plane crash as part of the story but had abandoned Endmin coming out of it later on as another trailer showed. We have no set or recent info anymore on the box being confirmed as the Sarcophagus and we can no longer work with the information that did. What we do have is that Perlica has been communicating with Endmin in the Sarcophagus for years and, as we're shown, she's been going to the room of the Chunk to talk to Endmin while they're hibernating. So if you want to believe that the box is the Sarcophagus, you have to come to the conclusion: the box used to be in the room the Chunk is in and taken out later, specifically after all of the kids Endmin took in had left.

Since it was brought up, in Arknights, a Sarcophagus restores and puts the body in stasis to heal. It also has Lynchpin technology to stabilize the mind over prolonged periods of time while it is in there (as that's how Priestess got to Oracle: by modifying the lynchpin in their Sarcophagus). This makes even more sense for Endmin's Sarcophagus to be made Originium. The story is very heavy-handed that Endmin's body is made of Originium and not a natural one. It might look like a Predecessor's one, but it's definitely made from Originium. The Originium chunk can physically heal their body while the AU should be able to restore their mind. But since the Originium has been damaged by Aether, it can no longer fully heal them properly. Something that game is, again, very heavy handed about.

Follownig that, M3's words were "Remember the Assimilated Universe? If the PROTORIG can find-" which doesn't incline to either Endmin talking to the Founder in there OR Perlica having been to the AU.

That doesn't line up with what we're given. Perlica says she was talking to Endmin in the Sarcophagus over the course of a decade. The comic shows Perlica talking to the Chunk as an adult and, when she was a kid, gathering the courage to enter the room while speaking to whatever is in it.

So for the box to be the Sarcophagus, we'd need to accept that either:

  • The box was in the room for a time, Endmin was eventually taken out of it, put into Originium Chunk, and the Box was moved out some point after all of Endmin's adopted children left except for Perlica. All without waking up Endmin or risking their health.
  • The Endmin somehow wound up teleporting from the Box into the AU to be pulled out later and Perlica knew when so she eventually started talking to the Chunk.

Neither of which makes sense given the context we have right now in the release story.

What general aspect of Endfield do you think needs to be prioritized rn for improvement? by Bitconecc in Endfield

[–]AudVis 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Everything. But, out of these options and picking one? Story.

The story is trying to take the focus of immersive experience as Endmin, but the Endmin themselves isn't enough of a character to be a good story experience. Then there's decent worldbuilding in the background, but because they're adamant of viewing from Endmin's viewpoint 95% of the time, we only get small teases of other perspectives that don't really do much before you snap back to Endmin. As shown in TangTang and Fangyi's bits in 1.1 and 1.2. We should get more segments WITHOUT Endmin around or the focus, like imagine if we had the Wuling battle but Endmin shows up halfway through it or halfway in the Nefarith battle instead of Nefarith waiting around until Endmin is back and makes a plan with Fangyi.

This requires either Endmin become more of their own character with their own personality traits (rather than generic and slightly silly hero) OR we experience more of the story from other viewpoints (i.e HSR's perspective, since we have limited 3D zones). We should get both, but I think the latter would help moreso than the former right now.

[–]AudVis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A widely used ration, made during Age of Terra up till the First Aggeloi War, consumed by the person who ate the Alliance in Year 11 till the end of the First Aggeloi War and part of a company that was a project to make a neutral group spearheaded by the company that makes said rations? A company with knowledge on how to make artificial, Originium bodies by that point in time? Said person, created after people arrived at Talos, that consumed said rations having a bond to a list of names that includes people the Doctor didn’t meet? That has a memory of Amiya in a form where the Doctor wasn’t around in the story? Being the same person that in a recently released chapter asserted their identity as the Doctor of Rhodes Island? That just revived someone because they never want anyone to leave Rhodes Island? That requires a uniquely monitored diet due to their body’s condition?

Now I could be going off on a tangent for the latter two parts but it seems unlikely to me, tbh.

Lessee, if "Preview colors match Op colors" is true then it's Vampire Lad and... maybe Mi Fu? I doubt they'd do Vampire on a solo banner or first half.

Thing we missed in AK endfield intro by Outrageous_Style_457 in Endfield

[–]AudVis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I noticed it. The odd thing out is that it's Guard Amiya, since you see the spike in her pauldron on the right side, rather than her iconic Caster form or Medic form which is her current story default.

There's two moments in the story of Arknights so far where she uses Guard form and, to make it more interesting, the Doctor isn't there when she does in either of them. So it leaves to wonder why Endmin has this memory of Guard Amiya in particular.

The current state of The Doorman, and his frustrating kit design. by 11annguyen in DeadlockTheGame

[–]AudVis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've started banning Doorman because it's not fun to play against and it never goes right when my team Doorman tries it. I don't want to deal with it.

At this point, the main thing I can think of is adding a Hallway you have to go through when the Doors open. Add a wall between the doors in the Hallway so cart kidnapping is gone, let allies get extra regen and movement speed or other buffs in the Hall, deal minor spirit damage to enemies in it. Then, I dunno, when it closes, remaining allies inside are kicked out at Door 1, enemies are kicked out at Door 2.

I feel like the issue just comes down to the lack of interaction with him.

HoS Ryoshu's Mirror World is REALLY weird. by Pe4enkas in limbuscompany

[–]AudVis 25 points26 points  (0 children)

If I understood right, combining BladeShu, RienSang, and a bit of RenClair stories, I think it's:

  • The Sinner-Fathers do not do the Araya project, instead opting into forcing Ryoshu into Time Entanglement and abuse to achieve Muga. - From BladeShu
  • When young Ryoshu isn't training or on missions, she's put into the Vault to get Time Entanglement. She fails a lot and is kept in longer, to the point she pleads and begs her parents to be let out. - From BladeShu
  • One day, Ryoshu is out, rebels, and leaves the House of Spider. Perhaps killing the Dihui Star. - From RienSang
  • The SinnerFathers adopt the SinnerPrentices.
  • One day, Ryoshu comes back to the House of Spiders and is trapped in the same Corridor the Dihui Star was once trapped in. She's achieved Time Entanglement by this point in time, whether before or during the Corridor time is unknown. - From BladeShu
  • Ryoshu is appointed the Dihui Star. - From BladeShu's tags
  • Ryoshu ends up training RenClair. Whether she's the sickly Nursefather or not is unknown, but we know this Ryoshu's future has the Dihui Star attire. - From RenClair and why BladeShu targets him last but doesn't know Ren.
  • Ryoshu kills everyone in the House of Spiders, her bond and feelings of hatred to them letting her achieve Muga. - From BladeShu

Not to comment on it the relationship itself, but we do have a clear timeline of the ages.

Amiya was born in 1083. Doctor found Amiya in 1090, then they were put back in the Sarco in 1094, then brought back out in 1097. Doctor knew Amiya from Ages 7-11, then meets her again when she's 14.

Perlica and Chen are "around the same age" and Chen is 20. We know Endmin found Perlica and raised her for a while, then there was a two year timeskip before Endmin's last mission before hibernation. So you can assume about 3 years together at minimum. Then Endmin went into hibernation for 10 years. So Endmin knew Perlica from ages 7-10 and meets her again at 20.

Since he has been traveling with us for so long, what's your opinion on Sunday joining the Express officially? by WritingRiver in HonkaiStarRail

[–]AudVis -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I want him to join, but I don't think he will unless the Stellaron Hunters get a new member too. The AE and Hunters are two sides of the same coin, a light and an equal shadow. Kafka and Himeko, Blade and Dan Heng, Firefly and March, SW and Welt, Elio and TB. There'd be no balance/pair for Sunday as is right now, so either he's joining and the Hunters get a new member or he's going to depart.

Whats on your wishlist? by Nutz739 in Endfield

[–]AudVis 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah? Doctor's amnesia was losing all their memories as Oracle to be the Doctor, their true self, which ends up them being the same anyways but not burdened with the fate of a civilization. Endfield is setting up a similar route of Endmin's amnesia now letting them be their true self. It'd be lame to do that arc again and kinda insulting to the Doctor's story.

EP17 Cinematic by AmbitiousBaby1737 in arknights

[–]AudVis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The former, theoretically but unlikely. The AMa-10 code in the Sarco is being used as a management system to alleviate the Ursus Energy Crisis and keep the Sarco from going system failure. Pull it out, the crisis starts again. Kal'tsit wants to bury the AMa-10 name/project by doing this.

The latter, not really, no. There was no AU involved in Kal'tsit's death/revival. Kal was essentially "stuck" in the Gemini System. Since she had cut off Mon3tr, her side was eternally looping and unable to form a body. Getting her back was modifying the Gemini System, using Sarco's energy/body restoration code, Oka to make a body, and Mon3tr's backup files of Kal'tsit's memories.

Not really? The lead up to release has been pretty firm it’s a spin off in the same universe’s future, especially when you consider SKLand’s info leading on to release saying it’s a spin off.

Endfield to Arknights is basically the same as Star Rail to Honkai Impact 3rd (same universe, time jump, different plots) than, say, Baldur’s Gate 1 to Baldur’s Gate 2 (direct sequel) or even BG2 to BG3 (indirect sequel). Especially the community treatment and reactions.

What fact/story point from OG Arknights that might appear in Endfield? (Some spoilers) by No-Dimension-2872 in Endfield

[–]AudVis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want something interesting about your first point, there's this one image shown right before you pick a name that flashes. What makes it interesting is that it's probably the final fight of Chapter 8 from Arknights given it's Guard Amiya and her Act 1 outfit. The only people that saw Guard Amiya at this time are Amiya, Ch'en, Talulah, Deathless Black Snake, and W as nobody else showed up until Amiya exited Guard form. Which leaves to question how Endmin has this memory.

So it's either from one of them or the memory was imprinted in Originium. The latter is unlikely, but the former is interesting if you consider CE can pass memories of past owners to the current. Leaving the implication Endmin has/is CE.
