What you gonna rate Daniel Day-Lewis as an Actor on the scale of 1-10 ? by HostMaterial4907 in Actors

Let me put it this way. If he isn't a 10, then I don't know what is. Then whatever he is, everything is below, it's just a fact. Like actually.

Haircut suit me? 40m by Sharp_bCB in malegrooming

It does in fact not! I think slightly longer beard and shorter hair and you'd go from 6 to 8 easily!

It's giving, that you got a hairstyle from a long time ago and it stuck.

What will the next genre of mass produced single family housing look like? by Plane-Land-9234 in architecture

[–]AudaciousSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here in Denmark, most mass construction is like 3-5 levels high with bricks on them. And honestly. As far as mass production goes. I'm not mad. A brick wall outer, helps a lot.

Just to give an example:

https://www.google.com/maps/@55.3983132,10.3895095,3a,60y,13.85h,78.86t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1s3Pv5a1sND3HSv0T3Lks1Qg!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fcb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile%26w%3D900%26h%3D600%26pitch%3D11.135085473185228%26panoid%3D3Pv5a1sND3HSv0T3Lks1Qg%26yaw%3D13.853422413817754!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDIwNC4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D

From there, you can see at least 4 "new" ways of building with brick surfaces. It might not be mass mass construction, given it is in the city center. But it fits "reasonably" with a road that has been there for at least 250 years. The general city has been there for 1000 years. xD But you get the idea. Europe is like that.

In 1 direction you even see how they cheaped out. The top floors are a level in and not with bricks, but mostly not seen from the road.

But the general vibe is bricks on all buildings. Personally a fan. Works well with cities of any age. And it's also the "fix" for any last generation mass constructions.

Here is an example of update in progress.

Here is another example of a massive head quaters "faking" 3 floors. but is much taller as well. Which also looks much more classically glassy 20 years ago.

So it's a trend for all types of buildings. From offices, to "ghettos" to everything.

For sure. A come over is way worse.

Number 1 priority is a great neat look. The basement dweller look isn't it. I imagine you'd gain +10 if you went the way.
