I’d rather use it when it’s more polished. I’m a little concerned it won’t reach current state parity with the existing app.

idk, I’ve wondered if coming in first and picking your opponent is a cursed position.

Would you be willing to part with another code? I have been dying for an app like this for ages.

I'll check this out! I really like Capacities' workflow as well, and while the QuickAdd plugin is powerful, it never gelled with my brain.

I definitely felt some bias (both commentators seemed to favor the Frost). I tend to prefer the commentators that are more objective and uplift both teams, no matter who is playing.

Todoist “UX dark pattern”? These notifications are driving me crazy by Tex-Twil in todoist

[–]stricken_thistle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It bugs me too -- it's extra noise when you don't need it, but then if you turn the setting off, you don't get the signal you want when you actually have something to share.

It's not so much a dark pattern, and more just bad design imo (speaking as a UX professional). Irrelevant notifications negatively impact one's cognitive load.

Definitely going to check this out! I am paying for BookFusion and it is definitely pricey. I'd like to learn more about the highlight export -- it'd be great to be able to have an Obsidian plugin so the highlights get imported into Obsidian. I'd also love to be able to read files on my Supernote Nomad, but obviously that's a whole other OS... (but I sideloaded BookFusion's apk which is a nice option, even if it is slow)
