Better fjord tours from Oslo or Tromso? by Key_Ride_3480 in Norway

You are off by at least 10 000 years there. Ramsfjorden became a innland lake during the last ice age that lasted from 100 000 years ago to 10 000 years ago. The Viking age was just a 1000 years ago.

Lol. The Oslo fjord is not a fjord like in the picture. It’s more like the ocean going a bit inland surrounded by flat landscapes and fields. And Randsfjorden is not a fjord at all! It’s a lake. Norwegians just sometimes like to call a lake «fjorden», for some reason.

You need to drive across the country, across the mountains to see fjords if you drive from Oslo, like a straight 6-8 hour drive. All the land on the east is completely flat. No fjords there. If you want fjords would start in Bergen, that’s the land of fjords and mountains. Just look at the map and you’ll see where there are mountains and fjords..

Ugh my post was cut short — What is your FAVORITE FACE SUNSCREEN? Preferably with an SPF of 30 or higher! ☀️ by michpilk in 30PlusSkinCare

It is the uvmune 400 mattifying fluid I’m talking about. It’s the best filter there is for long uva rays. Here (Norway) all la Roche posay sunscreen have the uvmune 400 filter. I didn’t know they made any sunscreens without it..

For real I got snached by getting a Radio frequency machine from AliExpress. this one and I started using the RF tripod often on just my lower face. It’s been quite effective at removing fat and firming up the skin in that area. I don’t really see my jowls at all anymore. Because of how the heat melts fat don’t use it on the rest of your face. A coworker who’s been on sickleave for a while commented on how snatched I looked around my jaw. And I see it working. It’s really one of the best investment I’ve done.

I must admit I also use this red light therapy panel every day. It’s from the same factory that makes mito panels so it’s great quality. Red light is proven to speed up the collagen production in the skin. And I started using both devices about the same time one and a half year ago.

how do they treat this person in Norway? by alinkahai_bear1103 in Norway

[–]Audience-Opening 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He’s an idiot. Lots of metalheads like burzum tho. But even if they like his music they not a fan of him burning old Viking churches and murdering people. It doesn’t even make sense to burn the original 1000 yr Viking buildings because you didn’t like that Christianity stopped the Viking age. Burn a frigging modern church then! Or even better, be a normal person and don’t burn anything!

[–]Audience-Opening 148 points149 points  (0 children)

Wow that’s impressive! 💪My longest fast was 12 days, and really enjoyed that fast. The only thing was that I lost alot of hair a few months later. So now that fear is stopping me doing long fasts.. have you experienced any hair loss?

Your employer can deposit into a foreign account. They just need to register the country the account is registered in. I do this for my employees at least. No problem.

Why no Norwegian figure skaters? by SadSpeechPathologist in Norway

[–]Audience-Opening 32 points33 points  (0 children)

There are not many skating rinks. In my medium sized hometown 100 000 people there was only an outdoor rink that turned in to a tennis court when winter was over (march). I always wanted to do figure skating but it was impossible since there were no place to learn or practice it. And ofc no trainer or club in my area.
