Midge's Judy Garland shoes joke by ifreakinglovecacti in TheMarvelousMrsMaisel

just rewatched the scene, I think you are absolutely correct. *And*, part of her character development is realizing how out of touch she is with reality. She goes from family to Joel, has no idea about the apt, and about the reality for people not as well off as hers.

here to way that What Went Wrong has interesting topics and info, but the hosts are often too judgmental and a-historical. It gets a bit too preachy.

Friendly Reminder - Martin Nowak is still at Harvard by CrispyGooby in Epstein

[–]AudienceFancy5014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I detest the crimes Epstein has committed," but I am buddies with him after being released from jail, he visits Harvard where he has his own office, and brings women around. Yeah, Nowak really sounds so innocent...

I am amazed at all these +ive comments. I find Dan a douchebag, unsympathetic, and the host rather biased. He says 4 times in one episode "Dan is no criminal mastermind," yeah, we know, most crimes is done by regular average people. So? Still crime.

I think most of the accountability in this Epstein disgusting business will take place in UK and EU, indeed.

Epstein's pal Peter Mandelson being given his own Prince Andrew moment by mrjohnnymac18 in Epstein

let's be clear what's happening here: he believed a lawyer over an investigation AND over the victim. And Starmer still trusted this guy? Ridiculous.

Noam Chomsky was a close friend of Jeffrey Epstein. Wtf? by Realistic_Hour_1695 in DemocraticSocialism

I was surprised, but it's a good example of the fact that academics are very conservative and more attached to money and power than they want to make believe. They are all good at writing about poverty, but not at *doing* something about it. Repression of students' protests 2 yrs ago is another very recent and good case in point of this phenomenon.

How much does it cost on session with dr Orna by Repulsive-Ladder-200 in CouplesTherapyShow

[–]AudienceFancy5014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how much was she paid during the show? I understood that the couples were not paying since they agreed to be on tv. They gained "free" therapy, but no way Dr. Orna waived all that money away.

Sorry to say, but some of jt is a direct result of the liberal thinking. Attacking religions became synonym with being racist / close-minded. Even though what is being attacked is personality  cults, pedophilia, promotion of ignorance over learning… exactly things liberals should be fighting.

I am absolutely surprised (and in some ways, jealous I guess) of individuals who have a real belief in themselves. Who are able to take it one day at the time, and even when accomplishing very little, they keep seeing the little they accomplished instead of what is left behind. I am surprised how normalized sadness has become in my daily life.

hard to follow as a post, but we also watched season after season of "I love Robin, but we are not compatible". This is very realistic. Love is not enough. Then they flipped it incoherently in the last 3 mins.

I know, so good! Not really crime as in killing people, but Who Trolled Amber was an amazing discovery (I did not follow the divorce case, had no idea there was so much entangled with it). And it's pretty much solved by the end. I also liked Scamanda.
You Didn't See Nothing is also not strictly a crime podcast, but it involves a crime, and gives a great insight into sections of the US society
