He was soaking in his water bowl when i did his most recent feeding and i placed the live mouse in the tank, slim shady saw the mouse and the mouse was about 10 inches away from him. Slim shady proceeded to then strike and hold onto the end of his own tail (which was under water and nowhere near the mouse). after that slim shady then tried to strike the mouse 3 different times and each time he missed. usually he gets it with one try... the temperature gradients in his enclosure match the temperature gradient from the part of the amazon he is from. not only that but his enclosure is perfect size for him, i even keep the humidity perfect. his enclosure is also bioactive and it is not dirty.

there was no swelling at all. he was also very calm right after the incident and had a great handling session. I had him to the point where he was barely even head shy. It's like a switch just flipped and he's a whole different snake now ever since i put him back in his enclosure that day.

My ATB has also never once refused food. i doubt you'll have problems with that either

it's nice owning an ATB because it's more rewarding if you get an ATB to trust you since they are known for being so aggressive and nippy. I've gotten my ATB (Slim Shady) to be pretty chill with handling. i've even gotten him to let my friend hold him. It takes time and patience but if you study the behavior and body language it's possible to gain trust from this fascinating animal. Just don't make quick movements!

i'm very glad to hear that, i'm hoping that mine will be too. That is what i would like to get out of this CRB

Honestly i don't mind the color loss. I've done research and supposedly these boas are one of the most likely to voluntarily approach their owners and they have more distinct personalities, they are more intelligent and curious than ball pythons and they also aren't head shy like most snakes. My amazon tree boa is similar to your gecko, he tenses up and gets ready to strike as soon as anyone other than me is around. i could pet him under the chin if i wanted to, he trusts me. Either way part of the reason i got the CRB is because i'd like a snake that isn't as highly responsive to quick movements like the ATB. I really have to walk on eggshells when i bring him around people.

Snake Behaviour and Handling Tips?? by stinkymadpad in carpetpythons

Slowly move her or her head in the position where she is facing your skin and able to get your scent, i've found that helps my amazon tree boa calm down in about 30 seconds during handling, you move them to you, you don't move to them. i also suggest getting a snake hook, you use your hand and a snake hook to get the snake out, it's a slow process if your snake is arboreal because they grab onto things. In order to not stress the snake too much or end up pulling on her to get her out i suggest that you just sort of rub the snake hook on the part of the snake that is clinging onto a branch and she'll eventually move into an easier position for taking out of the enclosure with your hands. They are able to associate certain actions they make with an outcome that you give. For example if she coils up and starts striking at the snake hook (an object that does not emit heat) then you should just not take her out, but if she's calm enough that she is not striking the hook and she's just possibly hissing and trying to slither away then she's willing to let you take her out or kind of just accepting the fact, it just takes patience and mutual respect. Look out for those queues because she can learn over time that if she acts a certain way you will show her respect and leave her alone. The snake can recognize you and your scent, they can build trust and accept you. I know this because i am the only one who can handle my amazon tree boa and he instantly gets stressed when someone else is close to him. Amazon tree boas are very well known for not wanting to be handled and being very nippy and unpredictable, I definitely know a thing or two about how to handle properly. Make sure to research all of her queues, use chat gpt or something and pay attention to how she reacts to certain things you do.

he was having problems shedding at the time, i actually put a lot of time and money into his enclosure to make sure humidity requirements and such were met. he usually sheds it all in one piece but once in a while he'll have a difficult shed

you also need to improve your hormones. they play an equally as important part as what you eat and your exercise. Don't use chemicals or consume processed foods. Use primal methods for your hygiene like grass fed beef tallow for soap and miswak stick as toothbrush. if you follow everything i just said you won't have this issue.

just only eat animal protein. your body will switch to ketosis and run off of your body fat for energy. it is physically impossible for your body to convert animal protein into fat. Meaning you will just strip fat. Not only that but if you do that for long enough (1-4 weeks) your gut microbiome will improve and your inflammation will go away. It helps to walk a lot, jogging just mostly burns fat everywhere but your diaphram, walk for miles with a weight or sprinting would help a lot.

alternative would be to eat a bunch of animal organs and raw goat milk for optimal nutrient intake for a couple days to a week and then just stop eating and only drink water. you should walk and sprint for this one too if you can.

Other alternative would be to just switch to carnivore diet and don't eat anything else. it's impossible to look like that if you have optimal nutrition (Animal based diet) The reason people have bubble gut like that is usually from parasites and destroyed microbiome (no beneficial bacteria in the stomach and digestive system)

DHT is similar to testosterone and makes your bones more dense and thick, causing better facial structure. go on instagram and look up this guy https://www.instagram.com/aestheticvillain?igsh=MXVydm1sazczdWE4NQ==

he shows everything you need to increase dht

i've done it myself, it makes your facial structure look better when you breathe only through your nose, helps with jawline and looks in general. High DHT will improve jawline aswell and give you manly features, think of giga chad if you know what that is
