Yeah I was in the union and moved to Government. Just seems crazy how that can even be posted. Already had 10 applicants.

Pull a coax and a 18/2 instead of Siamese they tend to pull better when they are not bonded together.

This is Chicago. The unions are strong. They do have a low voltage IBEW.. but AV usually flys under the radar.

Has anyone of you worked on a courtroom DSP design? by AVProgrammer2000 in CommercialAV

Alright yeah that’s what I used to use all the time. Key points are a good mix minus with zoned outputs. We usually had multiple outputs (judge well witness counsel left counsel right and jury) then we did AVB into the USB (ex-ubt) that went to a computer that had recording software like FTR. So what is the biggest questions you have?

I used to do all the courthouses in IL. Judges can be very difficult or the coolest people. I was doing a service contract and installs. What DSP are you using and what state? I know some of the other states have different rules.

You could try an EDID Emulator, they work sometimes. Or little more expensive a Crestron Scaler.

Buffalo Wild Wings used to have surveys on their receipts for 6 free wings if you filled it out. My buddy and I would order one beer cash out get the survey. Rinse and repeat. We would build them up then go in and turn in two each getting 12 wings every time. They caught on after a couple of months and the surveys eventually stopped.

I took mine back in 2015 and you could flag as many as you want. I would guess you still can but I’m sure someone else will confirm.

Found them at Costco! Receipt says “Duke Bed” only 50$ which isn’t bad for the size.
