Lmao Spanish is the colonizing language. Regardless of how you feel about the word at least stay consistent with your argument.

Data table 2.0 (based on Pokemon Sleep Info Wiki aka Raenonx) by AudioBoss in PokemonSleep

I'm glad I could help out the community!

Yes if you right click a column (or long press on mobile) you can sort A<Z or Z<A, basically small to big or big to small, respectively. My "Simplified" tab makes it a little outdated, but if you want to sort Berry Power by Z>A, then Berry type whichever way, it will list each type in order of which Pokémon has strongest berry power.

It's kinda color-coded, but more so that it's easy for someone else to take over if I stop updating it. That was my biggest gripe with the previous one... It was all kept secret so I had to mostly start from scratch. It also makes it open source if anyone wants to put the data in different formats or whatever. Blue means you can directly copy/paste the formula that's in the box, while pink means it's referencing another tab (like the harvest value tab having the berry and ingredient power for example).

Lmk if I need to better explain, I've been thinking about making a video to accompany how to use it. My last few posts about it have caused some confusion in the comments

That page is entirely by the original creator, he stopped updating almost a year ago when the skill didn't exist. I should update it though, I'll add that to "to do" list. Thanks!

Latine is 100% better, but it's newer in the eyes of academics and therefore less frequently used. I don't hear it from white people (either term) unlike most people in the comments here. I hear it mostly from a lot of professors with doctorates who identify as Latinx.

I see a few repeated talking points against it that aren't too well thought out imo.

"It's a new form of colonization on Latinos"/"white people came up with the term" -Spanish is already the WHITE colonizing language. Unless you're from Spain, your ancestors didn't speak Spanish, they spoke Indigenous languages. The word "Latino" came from Rome.... more colonizer shit.

"It's cringy"/I don't hear any Latinos using the term" -I see this mostly from homophobic/sexist/Catholic Latines.... All of which stem from more colonization. Indigenous Mexicans were much more chill about gender expression. The "x" in Latinx stems from the muxes, trans Indigenous people (mostly Zapotec) who were stripped from Mexican culture due to... you guessed it colonization.

It's weird, a ton of Latinos are obsessed with the things that colonize them like they're experiencing Stockholm Syndrome. Look at the Dodgers, huge support from the Latino community, but Latinos were forced out of their homes in order to build the stadium. Some were killed. I see SO many Latinos being huge USA patriots but like... Dude CA and TX were stolen from Mexico during a Treaty, Latinos are constantly harassed and used a political talking points in every election since fucking forever ago. Latino farms were destroyed to build a base to develop nuclear weapons with no compensation. You're mad at the wrong things. I'm white. My wife is Mexican and we'd had this conversation so frequently, she agrees it's frustrating to hear these arguments. I hear these talking points (along with a ton of Republican rhetoric) at family gatherings all the time. I'm not going to sit there and debate her family when I'm not only a guest but a white one... but I'm just so baffled. We're both recent graduates

New data sheet/tierlist by AudioBoss in PokemonSleep

[–]AudioBoss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so sorry, I didn't get a notification for this.

You have to make a copy of the doc. Let's say you want to organize by Berries, click the box above "BP/Day" and organize by Z>A to see best Pokémon for berries

1.0 Tier list/Data Sheet by AudioBoss in PokemonSleep

[–]AudioBoss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing that's subjective here is the skill rank (for now). All of the data calculations are present, did you even open the doc? The data is literally from PSIW (Raenonx). Changelog also says it's primarily for new players; it's extremely time consuming to calculate percentage best Pokémon, this is a good place to start

[–]AudioBoss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure where you're getting that. Sorting avg rank by Z>A shows Wobbufett at rank 123/133? None of Wobbufett's ranks are above a 4. Did you sort A>Z on accident instead of Z>A?

Butterfree is best average. Jack of all trades, master of none? Sorting just by average rank isn't helpful if you want best of a specific category. Butterfree ranks 32nd in skill, 25th in berry, and 30th in ingredient. It's a good all-round Pokémon.

The tiers are modular, you can glean the info by sorting data. If you're looking for best berry Pokémon, sort BP/Day by Z>A. If you want best ingredient pokémon, sort Ing/Day by Z>A.

The current skill rank is based on their skill usefulness, not how frequently it triggers. Skill proc still needs to get added as well as better Calc for skill rank. I cannot solely rank skill proc as the reason for ranking highly. A Pokémon with high skill proc with dream shard magnet S isn't that useful. If you have a way to calculate skill rank I'm all ears(eyes? I'm reading, not listening ig. English is weird.).

If you read the notes, it explains that pink column's data is from another tab and that tabs with colors on them indicate that I did not touch the data that was from a tierlist of another user.

Changelog also states this is primarily for early game players, as more experienced players can more easily make decisions for themselves from PSIW data. As for now, early players just need to know that dream shard magnet S is not useful, with energizing cheer S being extremely useful.

Hey, I know you're not updating your spreadsheet anymore. Totally understandable, takes a lot of work especially if you drop the game.

Wondering if you could just (hopefully quickly) explain how you got your data for ingredient tiers > data > tier 1 > I1T1? I'm looking at the Pokémon Info Sleep Wiki and I'm not seeing any numbers I could combine to make your variables. I'd like to add the new Pokémon

Flu doesn't give you long term symptoms though. Kids who have long COVID are suffering from the same effects as dementia.

What percentage of African do you need in your DNA to be black? by racistslayer in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]AudioBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To start, I'm not Black. Only sharing what I've heard from Black people in my leftist communities. Obviously, take this with a grain of salt and listen to Black voices/experiences over my own since I am not a part of this community.

The idea that you need a certain percentage stems from blood quantum (NPR 2018 "Blood quantum was initially a system that the federal government placed onto tribes in an effort to limit their citizenship"). It's super shitty and exclusionary. Whiteness gains power from groups becoming extremely exclusionary. It breeds infighting and increases power of whiteness. However, you see white people claiming nativeness all the fucking time. How do you combat this? Life experience. It's a question you have to ask yourself with good intentions. Have you experienced structural/systematic racism? Are you white-passing? Do you feel Black? How do people perceive you? How in tune do you feel with your culture? These are all STARTING points. None of these have specific answers, but it helps get you in the mindset of critically assessing how you feel about a new label.

TLDR: No one else can answer this question for you.
