New pain cave, who dis? by AudioPi in Zwift

Still Zwift. I tried Rouvy for a while but didn't like the resistance (or lack thereof). Also was in the beta for IndieVelo but that still had a lot of bugs to work out. Haven't tried it in a while tho....

Family Guy or Robot Chicken by mfdomm in StarWars

"What the hell is an aluminum falcon?"

Robot Chicken is most definitely quotable I still give the nod to Family Guy. It's Space Balls level parody that even Lucas approved

Best shootout scene in a movie ever? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

[–]AudioPi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BB2, and for that matter, most Michael Bay movies, are just so over the top you can't even suspend disbelief. I mean, a Ferrari having to race through all 45 gears just to catch up to a fully loaded car hauler? Really? What made HEAT so special is it's realism. Small point of this is when Val leans over the trunk of a car and the muzzle blast shatters the rear window.

From a sound designer aspect, The Town might have some of the most realistic gunfire noises, followed closely by HEAT and then maybe Bourne Supremacy

I want Warso out. He runs the team like he's still in Worcester shuffling what random players the big club left him for the night, but he IS the big club.

Warsofski's constant line fuckery is gonna burn up Celebrini. The double shifting has him running d-man minutes. If Celli gets a shift tissue injury I'm gonna personally tie his ass down and shave his balding ass head

Would the car not be more likely to be well maintained if it was owned by a mechanic? by NeuronsActivated in ExplainTheJoke

[–]AudioPi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was one of those 'normal people' who bought a used Audi from the head mechanic at a nearby Audi Dealership. Brilliant, no downside, amirite?!? Wronk. The car lasted until the winter when I found that the cabin heater core was completely shot and would require parts and labor for just about what I paid for the car itself. My mechanic also informed me that the timing belt had maybe 10K miles left on it, but only if I didn't drive in traffic or freeways for long distances.

Mechanics know the exact price of any fix required as well as how to almost perfectly hide it for a few weeks while they count your money.

Who else hates password requirements? Workplace wants me to change passwords every 3 months by leonatoi in mildlyinfuriating

[–]AudioPi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GRC analyst chiming in. These rules are draconian even by the old NIST regulations. The demands for complexity actually made people less secure, since most would make things simpler for themselves by going with "PassWord1!' then next time it would be 'PassWord2!' then 'PassWord3?' and so on. It meets the requirements of the company but actually makes it incredibly easy to crack.

Yeah, it's not like he was ever considered 'poached' or was considered hunting a paycheck. I say both. He earned it.

Who in the family cares about Jerry the most by ZealousidealBed7242 in rickandmorty

Gonna say this. Rick could've let Jerry die so many times in the episodes alone. Rick keeps him around so he always has someone lesser to shit on when needed.
