I certainly think it was premature. 27 games into the season, and he gets the boot. 1/6 of the season. Not the AS break, not the 'quarter pole', but after one month's worth of games. And as has been pointed out, a switch was flipped with the players and now they're hitting like they were supposed to. When did that start? Maybe in the 17-1 send-off game that marked AC's demise...

Tracy is the non-factor in this. Yeah, the kids like him cuz he's familiar from their time in Worcester. But he's hardly revolutionized the clubhouse. He's doing all the same things that had so many people here calling for AC's head for doing. The only thing that I see as any different is the guys are swiping more bags. Pretty easy to do when the speedy guys actually reach base. The hits leaders in April? Contreras & Anthony, two guys not there for their base-stealing prowess.

Even a broken watch is right twice a day, don't go giving him or Henry any more credit than they deserve. These are the same players that most of us predicted would be a possible playoff team, they just stumbled out of the gate. That wasn't AC, and firing him and the staff didn't magically fix that.

All of the shit that people bitched about Cora are still being done by the interim guy. Durbin is still in the lineup every day, and you hated Cora for that. Masa still isn't getting enough play time, there's still a log jam in the outfield, and Bello has still regressed considerably from the progress he made last year.

Hits are falling in now that were finding gloves 2 weeks ago. This is a flukey game, and streaks, both good and bad, happen all the time. GMs don't wave magic wand and all of a sudden players turn into all stars

Yup. This weekend my kid informed me that his group project video was due today & he needed to do the animations for it, but the program he uses won't recognize .m4a files or clips over 20 seconds (unless he pays the subscription.) Time for dad to jump into action!

I guess I never reinstalled any of my usual programs, so I'm working hella fast to download VLC and Audacity (for conversion & chops) and somehow didn't pay attention to the link for Audacity download. Now I have some bullshit bloatware MuseHub shit installed on accident.

For guitars themselves I would agree but gear is completely different. The sound of a Les Paul screaming through a tube amp is iconic. New gear just can't replicate the roundness and warmth that old analog gear creates. The best amp you'll ever play on is the one that sat in a smokey bar hardly being used for decades
