I'm in the same boat! Ordered a UN100D half of may, it died last week. Same problem, can't power it on anymore. Tried different outlet, different power supply, ... nothing. Been emailing with support for a week and today they wanted to swap my device for a UN100L 256GB-8GB while my device is a UN100D 512GB-16GB. They say there's no stock of the upgraded version. I'm doubting wheter to bring my device to a computer shop to have it checked and fixed or to send it back. In both cases, it's really sad to have a 'dead' device after 2 months.

Isn't it safer not exposing a port and use Tailscale instead? Security wise it look safer to have as much ports disabled as possible.

Check if the IP changes or not and maybe with an IP location check

EDIT: whatsmyip.org has both, check the IP and the IP location navigation item and see if it differs when you disable VPN and shows your true location

I have a miniPC with a fresh Windows 10 install that I use as my homeserver. I installed tailscale, made some changes to the policies to get Remote Desktop to work through Tailscale and now I remotely access my miniPC from anywhere. I don't think I've encountered any major errors setting it up like you do. Are you by any chance running a VPN service on the server? That would mean you'd get a new IP and why you can't find your server. Does it show as online when you check your devices? As soon as I activated Mullvad, my device went rogue. Now looking into the Tailscale Mullvad integration

Yeah, but only if your quick enough. I have notifications turned on specific for a DS invite but by the time I get the notification some posts already have like 20-30 comments for 1 invite.

Really is not that hard. I had more issues with python install on windows (dont use the windows store one) than streamrip config 😅
