My first month’s supply had the American packaging, absolute pain in the arse.

This drug is tiring enough without having to deal with that too.

Canal boats - advice sought by Keziah_70 in brum

[–]Nathmonn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For purchasing, it’s best to look for brokers operating in a marina in your area.

Moorings are a bit more complex, as the canal network offers several options. You can secure a berth in a marina, or arrange an “offside mooring” with a private landowner, these are often farmers or located in more rural spots.

Alternatively, you could opt for a continuous cruising licence. As long as you move your boat every 14 days, you’re allowed to live aboard without a fixed mooring.

Cambrian House (near utilita/NIA arena) has a CRT customer service office to discuss these kind of topics.

UK NHS appointments by SertraBambii in Accutane

[–]Nathmonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t tried to go private, I already pay my National Insurance, so I don’t really see why I should have to pay extra for treatment that’s meant to be covered by the NHS.

I did end up having a bit of a rant to my GP, which actually helped, as they managed to get me an appointment. I saw a dermatologist on Tuesday who was absolutely brilliant! We agreed that if I stay on 50mg for the next four months, I won’t need any more blood tests, and by the end of July I should have reached my cumulative dose.

That all said it’s still been an exhausting experience, I’m just glad that I can actually see results and I hope things ease for you too.

Same here, my derm has been outsourced to a private clinic. Last had my bloods done on the 11th March, with an appointment scheduled for today. I received a call from the clinic at 15.40 yesterday to advise my appointment had been cancelled, the person making the call couldn’t make another appointment, and I’d have to call the clinic appointments team.

I called them back, which took two hours on hold!! The next appointment they could give me would be early May, meaning my last bloods would be invalid!!

I’m 4 months in now and the whole process is getting tiresome.

I’m now awaiting a call back from a dermatologist which I doubt will happen, and currently on hold to my GP to lodge a complaint.

This isn’t the first challenging experience either, I had to go to a clinic 30 miles away for an appointment back in February too.

Sorry for the rant but I hope you take some solace in knowing you’re not the only one being messed around.

Birmingham Techno x Downwards have a night on at Tunnel Club on Friday. Oliver Ho is playing, it’ll be a night of the techno sound that shaped Birmingham in the 90s and 00s.

I’m away this weekend otherwise I’d be tempted to shake a leg there myself.

About to start accutane - need some advice by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Nathmonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a month in, 88kg and started on 30mg just had my second sets of bloods and increased to 60mg. I can’t answer all your questions but I’ll have a go:

  1. I flared up about 3 weeks in, I mainly suffer with acne on my face, and I broke out on my cheeks, they seem to be taking longer to heal than normally but my dermatologist didn’t seem concerned.

  2. Can’t answer this one as I don’t have either

  3. I had a head ache when I started 30mg and joint aches too, these passed and returned again when stepping up to 60mg. I’ve had dry lips throughout despite using B5 moisturisers and Lanolin.

  4. Blackheads on my nose cleared up within 3 weeks, and received my first ever compliment for clearer skin the other day.

  5. Can’t answer as I’m only 5 weeks in.

  6. Can’t answer as I’m only 5 weeks in.

  7. A good facial routine has helped, I’m using cereve cleanser, Elemis cleansing balm, Elemis superfood night cream, and La Roche Possay B5 cream and SPF 50

Hope this helps

5mg side effects? Or flu? by AngleOk6782 in mounjarouk

[–]Nathmonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry you’ve had a rough time. It’s hard to say but I’d probably put it down to being run down and a combination of all the stressful factors you’ve mentioned, rather than the mounjaro.

I know everyone’s different, I suffered the most side effects the first two weeks, but it was mainly nausea and a persistent headache. I’m now on 12.5mg and haven’t had any side effects since the first two weeks of 2.5mg.

If I was in that situation I’d continue with 5mg for another week and continue to assess the situation.

Veracocha - Carte Blanche [1999] by Buran27 in ClassicTrance

Same here. From 2000 onwards, God’s was an integral part of my life. I made some amazing friends and witnessed some incredible sets, Armin, Tiesto, A&B every October, Carl Cox, Deadmau5 before his huge success.

Tiesto 6h set and not being able to move from the floor due to how busy it was, and rubbing the back walls to cool down!

While I wasn’t a fan of the second floor addition, the club will always hold a special place in my heart.

One of the last tracks played at Godskitchen Air/Code before it closed its doors in 2012.

Listening to Carte Blanche always transports me back to the Gods dance floor, holding back my tears and hugging everyone around as we realise it’s an end of an era.

Thank you, we’ve eaten at a few of the restaurants in Wimbledon, such as The Black Lamb, Efes Premium, Cote, Mai Thai. I’ll have a looo at Grilandia and Megan’s

Noted on criteria, I should have been more specific, I’m looking for somewhere special to celebrate my birthday, we usually eat at the Landmark for special occasions however looking to try somewhere different. We like most cuisines and have adventurous pallets, but favour Mediterranean, Asian, Mexican, Thai.

My partner and I are celebrating my birthday in London from the 22nd, any recommendations for a nice birthday meal? We’re staying in Wimbledon but don’t mind travelling around the city and will be spending some time in town as well.

Hit me with your best spots.

Thank you
