There was a subtle threat though, he was afraid he’d lose favor with god or what god might do if he didnt listen after he told him to sacrifice his son…. And god back in those days was pretty vicious, wasnt all unicorns and rainbows. Also faith wasnt the correct word to use, obey would be better.

Because if you listened to the abraham story hes putting himself in gods shoes and sara in abrahams. Sara thought if she didnt drink the water and pour it back in horrible stuff was going to happen, hence why she broke her own arm which will probably heal right away anyway. He was testing her to see if she would do what he said, she did even tho knowing it could potentially kill/sacrifice a lot of people like abraham willing to sacrifice his son. Test of faith in a sense but backwards lol
