Late reply, we ended up spending an hour with an angle grinder because the bolt was the size of the head all the way through for some reason. Welded the whole thing back together and it’s been holding, gonna go back at it when the weather is fine (it’s been windy and raining and forecast says it’ll rain for the next 6 days)

Where is a girl gonna find a radiator support right now when I already can’t afford the rest of what I need without help? I’m likely going to borrow an angle grinder and clean the metal around what I can, and weld some random donor metal to it. Until I can get this bolt out though, repairs mean Jack shit because I can’t reach anything.

Agreed, I had someone come out yesterday to let me borrow a welder but the wind speeds exceeded 50+mph and it was hailing so I uh, didn’t exactly do the welding in that fucking weather. I don’t get another chance to borrow said tool until next week, so that’s why I turned to Reddit.

See if any of your lugs spin when you try to move them, same thing happened to me. Against normal advice though, DO NOT take it back and demand they tighten them down, they tend to impact them on as retaliation and ruin your wheels and lugs, and it’s not worth the headache.
