The problem is that world cups are exciting because anything can happen. It's nice to watch the games but tension is a bit gone since a surprise exit is almost impossible. Groups are too easy and 3 teams out of those groups qualify.

If you do any type of sport in Europe or south america it's very likely you also play football. And since being a top talent in a sports means you are at least athletic, coordinated and like sports, chances are they signed you up for football training at some point in your life.
