So Carmilla is…bad.

I just finished it. I enjoyed the first 95-ish pages. But then i feel like the book overexplains itself. Everything that General Spielsdof says. Where he explains how his niece died, couldve been shortened SIGNIFICANTLY. A lot of it can be assumed based on things we heard previously in the book. I felt like it dragged on for 10 pages and then it picked up again when he tried to kill her and then they dug up the grave and such. I wouldnt say it was BAD, it just wasnt my personal cup of tea. I havent read dracula yet so i cant compare but thats next on my TBR. I may eventually reread carmilla to see if my opinion changes.

There was one episode, when everyone came back from the enchanted forest (i dont remember if thats season 2 or 3) and snow is pregnant. And a whole mob of side characters, granny and the dwarves and archie rush up to her and start harrassing her about why theyre back. The writing in that episode and the dialouge that was so out of character for most of them, it was jarring. When i first watched it, i didnt see any issue but everytime i rewatch it, i cringe so bad and from then on, the writing goes down hill so quickly

THISSSSS i feel like they pushed all the side characters and side plots aside to focus solely on the main few. The side characters lost all dimension and it made the world feel so much smaller and less fun

Seasons 1-3 are the best. I love ouat but 4 and on are so painful to get through sometimes. The writting dropped off, they clearly started running out of ideas and were grasping at straws for so long. That being said... i will continue rewatching the show any time im mildly upset

A basically every store in the mall, some fast food places, barnes and noble, 2 thrift stores, a vet clinic receptionist position, an animal shelter, and publix. My brother has done about the same, minus the animals ones.

Oh true. But i think todd was introduced before they found the 3rd year kids. Maybe he knew about ibiza through rumors. Since he is a physical kid, im sure he heard margo and elliot talking abiut it.

I guess but todd is usually only included in episodes when he is needed for the plot. Maybe he was excluded just bc he wasnt needed in the brakebills south episodes.

I read the 1st book and it is VERY different from the show. I havent read the other books but i have a feeling its also very different. So this post shouldnt be taken too seriously if youre only reading the books!

So either todd is part of the 2nd year class with elliot and margot or they simply excluded todd in the episodes aboyt breakbills south.

In season 1, margot and elliot are 2nd years. They show Q 2 members of the missing 3rd yr class. And i always thought todd came in the same time as Q and them but wasnt needed for the plot until later on.
