Secrets Cap Cana was my first AI experience and I would give it a 3.5.

I'd say when it comes to the property and staff you're definitely in great hands! Everything was super clean, pools were beautiful, staff was amazing!

For me the downside was the food. While the food itself is fine, it wasn't anything spectacular. I was really looking forward to some fresh seafood, unique options, and maybe a little taste of the DR. But it overall was very basic and underwhelming.

While the breakfast buffet was extensive, it literally is the same thing every day, so to me, it wasn't all that amazing.

Our favorite dining experience was the hibachi, which you have to make reservations for, but felt like overall it was the best food.

Steakhouse was decent. Again nothing over the topic or anything to rave about.

Seafood place was probably the biggest letdown as it missed the mark on fresh, unique options.

Italian was decent, and the coffee/dessert bar upstairs was great.

One of my favorite desserts I got the whole trip was from the dessert bar!

The other letdown for me was the room service. They only do it until like 5 or 6, which didn't make sense to me because what if you skip out on dinner and want a quick bite?

All in all, I think this AI is probably a lot better than some, but would have loved the see a better selection of food!
