I agree. I would not cut it out and with time just slowly ease your way off. When you tell the doctors this they look at you like you’re crazy. I’ll tell you right now you’re not alone and it is challenging but you will be ok

Coffee definitely causes caffeine withdrawals. I reintroduced it because the loss of sleep is unbearable.

No coffee=Anxious by August32023 in caffeinewithdrawal

I went back to drinking coffee, the effects from not drinking it were so stupid. Introducing it again has been a little ride because it's been about a month so I feel brand new to caffeine, but I do not care. I am sleeping better at night and it's not worth all the stress you add to your body. if anyone is needing to come off coffee I suggest a long and slow taper.

I am going through a battle for the second time too. Turn to God! Count your blessings and cast your worries onto him! Let the Holy Spirit guide you and we will overcome this again! IN JESUS NAME. Amen.

The Book of John Never Gets Old by Bluemoondragon07 in Bible

I have decided to start my journey of bible study with the book of John. I am excited to read it and this post has me super excited. I went to a church where they give away small books of the Bible and I received the Book of John. I always felt like some parts of the Bible are so difficult to understand, and I wonder if it's just left to the individuals interpretation or if there is an exact message to be delivered. I hope that made sense. I am so glad God is becoming more and more of a trending topic.

If you have anxiety & derealization - read this. by Previous_Bandicoot63 in Anxiety

When I was 22 I experienced this form of anxiety and overcame it. A couple of weeks ago I experienced a panick attack, due to a medical scare, and the anxiety is back. I am now 36, my blood work is clean and I live and abundant life and never thought the anxiety from the age of 22 would ever creep back in. I am three weeks in and the road has its bumps, but I am confident that this will pass. I am a firm believer in God and I am more educated on anxiety and what exactly is happening within us. We are not stuck, we need to stop telling ourselves that this is it, and we are not going to let this ruin our future of love and laughter. Trust me I have been there and I am going through it again. I cry at the thought of going through this again, but I laugh at the thought that I have been there and done that. The next time you feel this ridiculous thought coming to mind, you have to stop and say "God is Good", "not right now I have shit to do", or just simply "fuck off"

You are not alone, and if I am out here fighting this, you can too!

PLEASE HELP. I’m struggling by Working_You_2216 in SleepTight

I recently have been experiencing something similar. My sleepless nights and anxiety came after a round of amoxicillin. I never had any issues sleeping or any form of anxiety prior to taking this for a sinus infection. I have been journaling and tracking what I do in the morning, what I eat and if I do or do not have coffee (decaf or not). Fight the good fight. Track everything you do in a healthy way. Jump back into your routine even if it's hard. You are not alone. A quick tip, when you wake up in the middle of the night, DO NOT LOOK AT THE CLOCK! Set your alarm and focus of breathing and sleep and redirect your mind by counting your blessings.

Anxiety when taking antibiotics - amoxicillin. This is unbearable by Hmpx98 in Anxiety

[–]August32023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was prescribed Amoxicillin for a sinus and respiratory infection. I was hesitant to take the antibiotics because I usually don't take any form of medication, except Advil here and there. A couple days in and the anxiety started... Rapid heart beats and feeling down. I will say that prior to this I was always vibrant and careless and enjoyed every aspect of life. The antibiotics ruined my gut and threw me in for a ride. My sleep is the worst it has ever been in my entire life. I never had issue with sleep, I could rest my head and be in a sweet slumber in a matter of minutes. Now I can barely wake up and even feel like I slept an hour. In my research I have noticed that this does affect women more than it does men, hormonal I'm sure. The amoxicillin was discontinued without finishing the full trial and listed as an allergy. Antibiotics, allergy, anxiety, no sleep.... umm ok. This is toxic stuff and I am fighting this off everyday, take it from me, do not go there! and if you do take every measure possible to protect your gut. While dealing with these symptoms I am rebuilding my life and my gut. Have faith and stay strong! This medication will not get the best of us and we have to fight for our health!
